Surprises me quite a lot . The YF-29 must really have stirred quite a bees nest of interest if they're really going to go back and re-do the 25. Considering that the 29 has been sold out EVERYWHERE for quite some time, though, maybe that isn't all that surprising at all...

The only VF-25 I have is the Armored VF-25S, having held off in the hope that they'd redo them at one point. I'd even get another Armored VF-25 if it comes out nice enough. Bring them on Bandai!

Doesn't surprise me at all. Interview articles in the hobby magazines from months past have hinted that Bandai was thinking of doing a vers2.0. The success and positive reviews of the VF-27 was probably key.

Good news. Now I will have a chance to get a new and improved Michael unit.
Been holding-off since reading the non favorable reviews ;D

Good news for me too since I just own the VF-25G with Tornado pack and haven't transformed it once, now's my chance to get a Armored Ozma version. But I'll wait to see prices, if there too high then I may just get the first version since I plan on just keeping it in fighter mode and I'm sure people will be dumping them to get the new version.

That's great news from Bandai! Finally they realized how perfectible their rendition of the VF-25 was. I hope they do it justice this time, I'm definitely expecting something on the same level of toy excellence that Yamato has set with their VF-19

This is a HUGE improvement over the v1's; hopefully it looks as good in the other modes. The price bump is to be expected, and I'm OK with it, as long as Bandai doesn't get ridiculous with the web-exclusives. Unfortunately, I see that as how things are most likely to play out.

Looks like pretty much a complete re-design with no carry over parts. Nice, can't wait to see the Armored version.

Allright! The lanky battroid mode of the VF-25 is perfectly captured. I wonder if Bandai is also going to release the other variants simultaneously.

I really have to pick up this one.... too much toys are now coming at us... Dead to our wallets.
Today I went to Japanexpo in Paris and had a meeting with Bandai Europeen staff. They told me that Macross Frontier will not be released in Europe because of Harmony Gold macross/robotech copyrights. And Yamato toys got the whole market in Europe, so Bandai keep focus on asian Market. (and they put a lot in the new Myth Cloth Armor version because it's huge in Europe). That's why the DX stock produced are very few and 2nd runs are very rare. So, we need to be carefull to (pre) order this future release (which will have much ex produced than the YF-29).
Btw, this V2 is amazing, can't wait to see an armoured version (oh please).

Stupid Harmony Gold and their macross/robotech copyright. Frontier is probably the best anime series in the past 15 years. But instead we get The Shadow Chronicles. PUKE. I'd like to see a master set come out.. VF-25 + fast packs, tornado packs, a fold booster, and full armor.
