This may seem an odd question. If you had to pick between this getting and the Maketoys giant, what would you pick. Fandom of series aside, just on a design and quality standpoint? I have enough in my budget for one or the other and a day and a half to decide. I do prefer the original getter colors, but the black isn't bad. I also like the mix of engineering of Giant, but not keen on all the individual bot modes. i will take the fewture black getter in a hearbeat. diecast rules! |

So I read what you guys said, and I thought long and hard and I will go pick up the Getter tonight as long as its still there. I had only seen two here, and only one of at a good price. If its gone, which I doubt I will get giant. Thanks.

So after conversion I got it for about $310 + 1.50 for the ikea bag I bought to use it as a carry on. It might not be stylist, but it got my getter home safely.  |

You want a set? I can upload a set of 4 clips if you want. You will still need to buy the spikes from a craft store or ebay. A bag of 50 will run you $2 or $3. Give me a day or two cause I need to upload a few things to shapeways first.
Keep in mind these are friction clips. Pure pressure is holding them in place and nothing else.

Sorry to necro this, but I have to say—Dubai is full of surprises! After buying Fewture's Getter Poseidon for $320 from a collector over here, another local guy has offered me the Black Getter repaint for about $200, new and sealed. I have some reservations, since Poseidon isn't quite perfect and I've had to do a little work on it, but at that price I cannot pass it up. Hopefully I will be able to contribute some photos and thoughts in the coming days.

i paid like 280 for mine and i feel like i overpaid. pieces fall off the thing with a slight breeze. super frustrating. it's basically a statue

I see. Do more pieces than the chest and weapons fall off? I figured I could just remove the chest while posting and reattach it afterwards, or mod the pegs with some tape. The only thing I was actually worried about was the lack of thigh swivel, so if I should be watching out for anything else, please let me know.

its basically the chest, and arm blades that fall off consistently. the shin guards fall off too but not as frequently. and the head is difficult to put on with the scatf on.
it may be more but i put it back in the box after about 2 hours of struggling and it hasn't been out since. (maybe almost a 6months-year)
