Wow, you kicked ass with that Great Maz head! Awesome job, bro! Yeah, small details are hard to paint. Just thin the paint a little for use with a small brush and you'll be stylin'. If the detail is Really REALLY small (thin lines) then try using a modified paintbrush that has a very soft bristle... just ONE bristle... dip the bristle in the thinned paint, and you'll be able to get the paint right in there inside those mouth slots. This kind of Detail work requires, no wait, DEMANDS, Lotsa PATIENCE.  zozo-mag |

im just amazed at all the stuff you have done for those figures! i was looking at mine and the details jyou have made, like the eyes, are like 1/4 the size of a grain of rice!!!!!!!!!!!! your customized figures sure look amazing, and i hope bandai releases the same things for the rest of us that cant customize as good as you!

Thanks Bro! However, if Bandai released all those accessories, I would be the first one to buy them! Custom work is okay when there is nothing else, but nothing beats factory made mass produced parts! ;D

Out of wax and then cast in resin. Could've been better, but I just wanted to finish it, and sacrificed a more detailed finish for a quick final product. ;D

Id like to say I REALLY like your white limbed Mazs' all of them.They are to me more anime accurate,I wish SOC put one out in that variation,they have sO MANY why not one that is the right color scheme? I know this is off topic but I just bought GX-01R+ as a special deal from AnimeExport for 259$!! my opinion the best SOC mazinger,its pretty rare and usually commands at least 399$ if it had white limbs it would be theperf Mazinger,as teh head sculpt is way better and the blues are lighter and look better. Or even with just the white scrander belt!  ] |

I agree. It has the best head sculp, and the chrome is GONE! ;D The only thing I don't like about it is the old fashioned Jet Scrander, and the lack of a Jet Pileder and other accessories.
Of course, white limbs would make it perfect!

I dont care as much about the missing accessories like the aze arms,as I pose GX-01R with them,and Ill take a realistic sized pilder over teh missing jet-pilder,as the GX-01Rs pilder for the crown was HUGE!this one is perf size.Its a shame they didnt mass produce the GX-01r+,but then again its kinda cool owning one being a better Mazinger and rare ya know?
.I like the Z on this scrander like in Mazinger vs.Devilman,thats cool,but I never liked the wings on these scranders,Id rather turn them around than have them move up and down,I dont like the look it takes to achieve that.BUT Im thinking of doing sets of new wings custom for the early GX Mazingers.SOC doesnt make a full size non moving scrander wings for any of the larger Mazingers,just GX-45 and that is the smaller OVA anyhow,GX-07 has none either.So a set for these is in order.

i hate the blue color used in the gx-01r+! is way too light blue anyway. the head is beautiful, the best one ever made. i think the scrander is from the mazinger vs devilman movie and that is why it has the letter z on the fin. i wish i could buy one but i dont think so, it is too expensive now!
