Eh, it's not as bad as it sounds. It's Alter's Kongiku statue, to go with their Momohime for the Muramasa The Demon Blade Wii game. It's actually still on hold at HLJ, in my "pile of loot" (forgot what they call it there, but you get the point).  Kongiku  Momohime Not the type of pieces I usually buy, but that game was so gorgeous I had to get these two. You can also play as a male ninja in the game, so obviously they're not making THAT one... |

I had just bought this DC Batman figure from TMZ...  ...my shelf has already started rumbling... ya know what that means? lol Once I customize this Batman into Maz enemy robot kikaiju DEIMOS-F3 it's gonna be Smackdown time for the both of them. Not quite Robot-related, but this is quite useful for those of you on the hunt for weird toys/parts for your customization projects. I scored this for .50 cents at my local thrift store, some of you elder RJers (60 and up) may have played with this toy back in kidhood... Krazy Ikes ...this plastic tinker toy's patent dates back to 1957. I don't know how many total pieces are supposed to come in this set. This canister here came with a few pieces consisting of ball-joints and body part connectors to build articulated toy figures such as animals and humans. The connections feel snug, and give decent angle for articulation. Some of the parts in This here set are broken while other parts were still useful. I saw this in the thrift store and just Couldn't resist, and for 50 cents on this vintage item I just Haaad to snatch it up quick before a Real vintage toy collector or hawker got his/her hands on this. Perhaps I should make duplicate spare parts from this set and see if I can customize some robots from it. Or, I can find more of these vintage Krazy Ikes toy sets for real cheap at eBay under the B.I.N. option. lol zozo-mag |

As for myself, in preparations for the Evolution Toy ALBEGAS I decided to get this:   I just got it today and it is AWESOME! I don't really have any vintage stuff, but for a few exceptions - and this Godaikin ABEGA is one of them... }D |

Cool. I had one of those unlicensed version from Taiwan when I was a kid. Not really a knockoff, if I got the story right. (In short : they had the real moulds, just for the rights to use them.) You could get one when you bought a tankful of gaz, collect them all, then form the ship. Just like my knock-off Sankan-Oh, I have no idea where they are now. That sucks. I'd love to have them displayed on my "nostalgia shelf".
