Version 2 vs. 3 comparison video. This should make everyone who bought version 2 feel sick. Seems like the differences between the two are more than just variations that might occur from piece to piece within a single production run. Yeah, that's the same one I posted a few weeks back. Was hoping it was a different one with a little more detail... I never realized your post was a link to a website...I thought you were asking if anyone was aware of a comparison video...lol.

and added a locking feature for the cars (feet) Forgive me because it's been so long, but I thought somebody accidentally discovered that you could lock the feet? (Maybe Josh from CDX?) I think the "lock" you are referring to is the one for the rotating hatch on the car. However, there is no "locking" feature for the cars when inserted as Voltron's feet. They are held in place by friction, no locking at all. }D

Ok got a e-mail with enough legal documents and contracts for me to believe miracle is legit and works for Miracle Productions. Awesome work. Thanks Chen Here's an assumption on how I GUESS it would work? Probably best to collect issues here - give people 2-3 wks to submit everything. And then list them categorically and submit to Miracle. And wait for the exact response from Miracle - how long, what's involved, etc I would assume Miracle would want to ship 1 batch of replacement parts to a trusted person on the forum (preferably an admin like Ed or Chen) And then have this person ship to the other members in NA. Members would probably have to pay the shipment charges from the CONTACT to their location? Does this seam like a logical plan? Hi guys! I've been following this thread since the beginning, until I received my Voltron and found one of my copters to be defective (melted groves in the shoulder joint). There's basically no ratcheting sound and the shoulder/arm won't hold in the up position. Anyway, I contacted TF a few months ago for a replacement and never heard back from him again ever. So is this (quoted message) still a solution to getting replacement parts?

Ha, yes, I guess I'm used to hyperlinks automatically showing up highlighted or underlined on message boards. (Maybe the old board was like that too..?.) I see how everyone would've missed it now.

It went to individual contact over time, rather than the one member handling it for the whole group. That may be your best bet to inquire about replacement of any parts at this time.

I think some may be referring to the lock on top of the feet vehicles for the transformation process and some referring to the figure standing on wheals in robot mode. Rolling in robot mode isn't really a issue for me. Someone posted a image af a part that would not allow wheals to roll, not sure if was ever made/printed. The lock on the transformation would have been nice, odd that they would take out of ver2(3)

You're welcome. There is also a thread called Miracle Productions Voltron defects and it is in this same SOC sub-forum. Some people are starting to get their parts. You may want to check out that thread as well.

I just got a third version Voltron today, and it is definitely an improvement on the second version. Less overspray, sharper paint lines, brighter and more opaque paint apps. Areas that are painted are pretty much uniform in color whereas in the second version, there are some areas with not enough paint. The small details in the plastic/diecast seem sharper, like they used less gloppy paint on the 3rd version. Joints seem tighter, although I didn't assemble any of the pieces. One door flap that is very loose on my 2nd Voltron is tight on the 3rd Voltron. I would rate the 2nd version maybe 75 to 80 out of 100 and the third version 85 to 90. The only major coloration difference I saw is the one forearm on the 3rd version doesn't have the red stripes on the sides. I don't know if that was on purpose, or they forgot to paint those. In any case, it looks OK, maybe better than the forearm on the 2nd version. The doors that close over his face are nice and tight on the 3rd version, not somewhat loose like the 2nd version. The yellow crest on his forehead is more defined on the 3rd version. The white paint on the car hubcaps is more pronounced on the 3rd version.
Pretty much everything the guy said in the youtube video was accurate, although I didn't see much difference in the box art, although there were some minor variations. Also, I didn't look too closely at the weapons to see if there were any differences. The third version still came with the chrome, yellow, and blue swords.
The 3rd version isn't perfect, there are some paint mess ups here and there, but not nearly as many as the 2nd version. I would highly recommend getting a copy of the 3rd version if you can. It is a step up from the 2nd in my opinion.

I own one, and if I had $400 or so to throw around, I'd buy two more. I'd love to be able to display this cool item in all three configurations.

OK, I bit the bullet on another one. That doesn't make up for getting screwed around by TF paying 269.00 each for 3 of them in the beginning. Now whenever I find one of these a a great price I feel I have to buy one because of the money I lost trusting and backing Dave. What ever happened to that fool anyway? Haven't heard anything about him but I havent been looking either. Im sure hes around somewhere with a different name. Ok did I just rehash an old subject just for fun..hehe lol hehe

LOL.... Crp, I can only Barely imagine the nightmare of that experience! At this point in time we shouldn't even worry about so-n-so. lol But yes, he still has his ebay stuff out there. Waaay back then I placed an eBay search rover for the VV, around the tail end of the drama show; and his auctions showed up in the results which were emailed to me. After that, whatever VV he had remaining up on eBay then sold out. Then eBay still emails me with sales ads from his store once in a while. I don't wanna add to that conversation cos then we'll be right back into discussing so-n-so. Well, perhaps crack a joke or two? Hey, now you'll have enough VVs to display them in each of their three vehicle/combat transformation modes! zozo-mag
