I broke down and got one. $180 shipped is a hell of a deal..even with the flaws.
Especially since my original PO with toyfreakz that I cancelled was $260+shipping.

Dude, you will not be disappointed at all. This thing looks absolutely spectacular when it's put together. Just take your time putting it together so you don't break anything...a lot of the connections and joints are really finnicky. Personally, to me, this thing is worth way more than $180.

I sold my original to pay for the reissue, I was so pumped for it. The original has a lot of memories and style, but it doesn't do much but stand there. I think it will display well in the very least

I think it will display well in the very least Anything with this much die cast is pretty much just a statue. Still, it has pretty good articulation. It took me forever to get the legs and feet in a position that looked decent and was also stable. I think all the different weapons and hands are the icing on the cake for this guy. If he just came with one set of hands and a sword, he would be a lot more boring to me.

Thanks, although the person who made the figures is "pock63," not "brock34." (It's an easy mistake to make. People often mistake me for dudley dort.)

Posted this in the replacement thread, but my anticipation quickly turned back to annoyance with the first connection on this toy. the first piece I snapped in just fell apart. I put the head into the top of the chest and the head just.... came apart. I assumed it was glued at some point... but i can barely see any glue. The white base of the head just stuck in the body, and then i went to move the faceplate and up it came. Trying to decide if I should wait for a replacement or just try to get a refund with toyarena. Not sure their policy. I really want to keep this piece the more I handle it. It looks beautiful on the shelf. But here are my problems: First problem: Head fell apart. Second problem: The red plastic cross on the waist piece keeps falling out. Third problem: The waist and thigh connector doesn't seem to go all the way in... maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have a toy that won't connect at the waist/thigh, the red waist cross keeps popping off, and the head won't stay on.. It's not display worthy.

Third problem: The waist and thigh connector doesn't seem to go all the way in... maybe I'm doing something wrong? Are you pushing the black release buttons on the subs nosecone down when connecting the hips? From what I have heard you HAVE to push them down to get the connection to happen. The other two problems appear to be where Miracle forgot to use *or used very little* glue when attaching those parts. You could probably fix them with a little Super Glue and patience.

Is that the "improved" version? Yes. Got it last week from Toyarena. It has the sticker too.

I'd rather get replacement parts that were glued properly. I'm not a hobbyest. haha. But I have no idea where to glue the head. It might be missing a part, and I don't know if the glue would mess up the mask or the head rotation. I've contacted toy arena about a refund. I'll see about replacements and see if I want to keep it. I am pushing the black release button on the nose cone. It won't go down, at all. Feels like its going to snap. I do wish the instructions were better. They don't explain a lot of the connections and could lead to a lot of breakages that weren't intended

The instructions are worthless. I had to pick up some youtube videos and try to figure it out that way. Humm, yeah it sounds like you got a bad one.

Did you pm Miracle about the issues with your Voltron? He may hook you up with replacement parts. It won't hurt to ask anyway, right? }D

Megaprime - thanks. Mazinger - Sure did. Quick reply.
Thanks. I'll repair the cross section. I'm not that good at this sorta thing but it should be simple.
As for the head I'm not sure where to glue it and if the glue will mess up the spring and ball joint. I also noticed a nick on the paint next to the cross, so I would prefer a new head.
Thanks for replying so quick. I'll definitely soften my stance a bit. It really is a nice piece.

Wait a second...Now the magnet from the chest pulled free. Seems the magnet from the top chest to the neck is super strong, unlike the plane magnet. Gluing this will be tough since the white bit around it springs up and down. I feel like it might get stuck to the metal.
