While they probably won't get made I would love to see both SRC Lazengann and Escaflowne. I think I'd be pretty surprised if an SRC Gypsy Danger announcement doesn't happen this year. Escaflowne is my dream SRC/SOC. Honestly, I really don't care if it transforms so an SRC would be fine. Though, maybe someone like Sentinel will do it. It really would be awesome with a cloth cape. I would like to see a lot more SRC from Gurren Lagann. I suspect that the design of the SRC Gurren Lagann kinda killed that from happening. Many people, myself NOT INCLUDED, do not like the design changes they took with it. Even though Superman is always Superman |

I could never get a Boss Borot SOC. Ooooooooh, how I ENVY everyone who owns a Boss Borot SOC! Especially after seeing the SOC Boss Borot smoke a joint with Mazinger-Z GX-01 on YouTube, that stop-motion video still cracks me up! lol But I certainly GOTTA have a Boss Borot SRC so's I can have all that parody video fun, too!  zozo-mag |

SRC Boss is a Must. I wouldn't mind seeing Garada K7 and Dublas as well, maybe Minerva but shes not that important to me.

Bear in mind, if a Boss Borot SRC were to be made, you can bet he's gonna have to be SMALLER in scale to the SRC Mazinger-Z. To demonstrate that perspective, here is my Eternal Heroes Mazinger-Z figure standing next to my SRC Mazinger-Z figure...  ...The Eternal Heroes Mazinger-Z figure stands at 4.5 inches tall. An SRC Boss Borot figure would have to be standing as tall as the SRC Mazinger's chest-plate, because an SRC Aphrodai-A would be as tall as the SRC Mazinger's mouth. In the anime series, Boss Borot is slightly shorter than Aphrodai-A; while she is shorter than Mazinger-Z. Just a perspective reference.  zozo-mag |

Just a perspective reference. zozo-mag Yep, Boss is probably around that height but his torso would just be as tall as mazinger but a bit fatter. It's his legs that cut down his whole height. I was gathering some data and pics on Boss Borot as I do plan on making an src sized version of him. It's his arms that's getting me stumped since I think he looks better with the whole arms being snake like in articulation. |

That is the one. Pretty nice figure. Diescast even. Not as articulated as an SRC but pretty looking and fits right in with the SRC SRW mecha Thanks Guys, the Banpresto is a surprisingly good match in scale. The version I'm hoping for it a little different though. A mech inside a mobile frame is just too awesome IMO. lol  |

Thank you. *-) Yeah, I think the SRC GL gets undue hate. I love it. Then again, I love the anime and the look of GL changes a lot in the anime. As for Escaflowne. Oh yes. I even bought the Yamato Escaflowne. Sadly, I loathe that thing and got rid of it. It was such a floppy POS. Sigh. Only toy I have ever loathed. I was so sad. I really don't care if we ever get a transforming one. I just one a really good articulated one. I would prefer if it was about 8" tall or so. So it looks sexy next to my SOC Big O and Konami GI Gurren Lagann. One thing Escaflowne must have....a cape similar to the one that the Sentinel Black Getter has. No plastic/rubber capes please! That was a big contributor to the problem with the Yamato Escaflowne! |

You're well-known for doing that, in this neck of the woods. lol Nothing wrong with that!  Nothing wrong with having several of the same item. On the contrary, I'd like to see you do some funny stop-motion videos with your Borots! As for the time they were available for $30 shipping, that must've been many many years ago way before I got into this hobby. I didn't know about it, therefore I don't miss it. These days I see the SOC Boss being pricey on eBay. But that's alright... I'll just make a custom version of it, someday. zozo-mag |
