Thanks, does it at least have all the weapons as the repair 3? As of now, I am unsure of all the parts you get to make the R2. Only thing I notice is the different color shoulder armor. The R2 is solid blue without white like the R3. The R2 uses the old knee pads so I am guessing maybe they are throw a pair of those in. It uses the same GN sword 2 and the promo picture shows it using the R3 thruster waist armor. So they may re color that part or change it so that it doesn't have the R3 markings. As for new parts, they have a new GN Drive where it opens up a little more. It won't have the GN Long Rifle. But the thing is, it doesn't matter if it doesnt have the R3 parts because you need to buy the original Metal Build Exia/R3 to use the R2 option parts. For them to include those R3 weapon parts doesn't make sense. I mean you can sorta make a zombie R1 by adding these R2 option parts to the R1 but this Exia R1 doesn't convert to R2. Again, Bandai wants to to buy the original Metal Build Exia/R3. Does anyone know if this repair Exia will come with an arm to replace that cape? meaning if I dont want to display it with the cape and decides to switch him back to normal. Is it still possible? Nope, this release is for the one damage MB Exia, the R1. It will come with armor parts to convert the original MB Exia/R3 to the R2. It's Bandai way to make you buy multiples if you want MB Exia, Exia R1, Exia R2 and Exia R3. Say what? I thought it as going to be a two-armed figure with one covered by the cape rather than a one-armed figure. Really glad I went ahead and got the four R3s now. Eff. |

LoL, it happens man. Not everyone is going to like every toy. I never "disliked" the design, but I have to admit that it grew on me a ton after actually watching 00.

I hear you Zephy. I too wasn't a fan till I saw the YouTube Exia Battle video....so freaking cool~ Made me an instant Exia fan....
Don't watch it unless you don't mind spending $$ on a figure you might regret getting (which I HIGHLY doubt)
It happened to me.
TJ, did you get TWO Exia 3s or is it a PhotoShop job?

Thanks Watch TJ video on the O Gundam. Most of the RX-78-2 are essentially the same except for the new RX-78-02 "the origins" version. The outer armor is all plastic. Minimal metal overall, metal part usually found on the joints. |
