Finally got groizer X (half price in amazon) and it's a great figure. Sculpt is really nice. Lots of details. Transforming involves a lot of part swaping but I can't imagine other way to do this one (there's a lot of anime magic in it's transformation). Surprisingly the joints are a lot stiffer than other releases I own, so it's really easy to pose. The only downside is that the cannons on the back seems really fragile (they came separate from the figure and are meant to be added). I'm really happy with it. And I'd say for About 120~140usd it's a nice figure of a really obscure character (can't imagine bandai or other company doing this one)

It's a pretty awesome robot that doesn't get enough love. Either way, this one is probably the best option rn, but I wonder about the size. How does it look compared to SoC/SRC?

Sorry for the late answer. It's about 17cm almost the same size of my energer gx47, almost as big as mazinger gx01 so although it should be a bit bigger. It scales well in my opinion and I'm happy with it. Nice details and great sculpt, my only complain are the head antennas, mine couldn't point in the right direction... after a while with heat now they do. I'm happy with it after all this time.

the robot design looks like a mix between some of Nagai's robots Its a tribute to 70s super robots thats why it looks so familiar. This robot came from an anime that the characters en nadesico watch during the serie and its a parody to the genre (so its an anime inside an anime. Inception!!! haha)

hmmm.. not bad. This is probably the only reason i want to support ET coz the license they keep getting which is mostly obscure robots or those were not even released yet... and take risks. btw.. its kinda a rippoff of Getter coz it also does transformations similar to Getter Robo.

ET version of the GX-04S lol
Recently saw this at ToysDaily. ET release complete version of Grendizer for 31,000 Yen. Still curious about their die-cast content, though!

i guess their timing is bad since most of the collectors went with the DC version from Bandai

Thats GekiGanger 3. It is a TV show within the anime TV show Nadesico. It's an old school Robot show that the pilots bond while watching, to contrast with the harsher realities of "real" robot space war. And yes it is an homage to the GoNagai stuff.

so glad this show-within-a-show is getting some modern toy rep. as far as I know, the only things that Gekiganger 3 had gotten were a Soul of Chogokin cover-kit (I wanna say it went over either GX-01 or GX-02, but don't quote me on that), and a popy-esque figure that could do its "iconic" sitting pose from whenever the toy showed up in Nadesico.
I think there were a couple of Garage Kits, but I don't tend to pay attention to resin statues.
edit: it was GX-01.
