i remember classic bumblebee as a german made beetle by volkswagen . does "redesign" means using newer car models for vehicle modes? nways, TF figures are getting better and better. i'll think about this, this line and the MP line .

At last. I thought binaltech/alternators were the lines saving grace BUT they are way to fiddly and downright frustrating for the average kid to get into, also the robot modes to my eyes are getting a bit lame, the aesthetic isnt working, however i do think meister (when correctly posed on his tip toes) is one of the best looking TF's ever.... anyway i digress. Yes, here are some decent realish style vehicles (ignoring the gun for now) which change into some nice looking bots, hotrod and starscream are the gems here. Except for a few models the TF line has sucked since gen 2, i hope now is where its picks back up. HELL i just saw bumblebee, superb, real kibble making the robot. CBC. yeah same sentiment here. i used to have them, but sold them for the same reasons. too fiddly, transformation can almost take up an hour or so , for fear of damaging the diecast paint. some don't even look great in robot mode. i have no regrets in letting them go.

True, but my point is why not make one anyway. There are tons of figures made just for the Japanese/Asian market that have little regard for North American sales. Why would an American law stop a Japanese company from making a figure for the Asian or European market? I think its $$ Chen. Takara's molds sell well for Hasbro. One figure missing from the hasbro line.. well thats less money for them. And so far.. Takara in the last couple of years have produced almost all its figures.

I like the proportions of the bots, very modern and advanced I say. Will collect this line.

Assuming this is the real thing (classics grimlock) im less than excited, the beastmode is a bit scrawny looking, rather like that godawful beatwars megatron US update. Also i prefer to see the transformation match the vintage, eg so rear end/tail would form legs which isnt the case here. gen 1 dinobots/diaclone are a hard act to follow for aestetic and well integrated reconfiguration of dino parts. Robot mode looks Ok though. Still, these guys have given me some faith back in the Tf line.
CBC.

G1 is a hard act to follow and I see these as more tributes rather than attempts to outdo the original. Yeah, Grimmy could use a bit more tweaking but it sure as heck looks better than the one that came out with Energon!

Why this neog1? Takara would do better reissuing all g1 tfs.... or you do the thing better or not do nothing

i don't know why anyone is complaining, i am totally impressed. i like reissues, but ...i HAD those toys, i like when ppl redo something. ...well, i was going to use an example, but Aaron Carter screwed it up. i'll use it anyway. remember the 50's song "I want Candy"?, i love the 80s remake. ...i just don't like the 90s AC make..but that is because of AC. but i have always been a sucker for parodies, and etc. Weird Al, Macross Plus(etc), Gundam, etc.
oh, and parallel universes, like DC's Earth 2..and 3...and ...infinity.

Why this neog1? Takara would do better reissuing all g1 tfs.... or you do the thing better or not do nothing they did that. several times G2, TRU Reissues..i mean really, how many REISSUES do we need? the only reissue i want, that is available, is Predaking, and until Hasbro makes it CHEAPER, i can't get it...$175? no way.

i know they made a blue version, but didn't they make the original colors too? i too disliked the repaints,...some of them, Jazz looked better...but the Dinobots in gray is much better.

Woooweeee!!! These pictures may get me back into TF!! Of the hundred renditions of Prime, I think this one looks the slickest (besides the Galaxy Force Prime, that is). Is there any chance of diecast content in these babies?!
