The green one is the one I have.... Yes the trinity is what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, Raydeen is the only jumbo I have so far of the three. But if it works out the way I have it planned, I should have him customized to come close to the comic within a week or so.
The center piece will house the jumbos, Trimpe Autographed #1 comic, Shogun Warriors framed 11x17 poster, and the GA series diecasts.

Hi all.
I am very free today and when I am free, this is something I like
to do to spice things up once in a while. No new additions, but instead I downsized a little recently,
have some free space to squeeze everything into my little collection display space,
these are the few of my favourites left. Especially the godmarz and the bootleg mazinkaiser.

I love the way Godmarz looks all covered in plastic! Any thoughts of selling anymore of your collection??? I can see several pieces in this picture that I'd be interested in and it would give you more $$ to go after your dream JM's, LOL!!

This is classic jumbo collection layout which reminds me of TOM FRANCK's classic photo of his collection. Same style where all the JMS are lined up on the floor... Thank you so much DOE! As many longtime members already know, I'm not too computer savvy. I hope everyone can enjoy the pictures of my collection. Thanks for the nice comments Robonutter! Hopefully, there'll be some more jumbos coming in the near future. Yes DOE, the front line of defense in the picture are definitely my favorites. If I had to pick one, it would be Voltes V. He wasn't cheap but worth every penny!!

Great picture....Is Garada your favorite? Have you thought of selling off some of your duplicate Shoguns (maybe they're not duplicates just different versions) and delving into the madness that is Popy JM's? Your Rodan is very nice...when they appear for auction they are usually missing a piece or the rubber bands holding the wings together are broken or missing altogether. Very nice collection!! I hope more of our JM brethren start posting more pics of their entire collections as well.

Thank you Rodman! After seeing your collection, that's a huge compliment.
There's only one duplicate in the bunch, a Gaiking, and that's because I'm looking for a wing for the one. Popy Madness hit me months ago, but I haven't been able to aquire any that I'm looking for. Not even an inquire to my Vintage Want list for the jumbo's. I got a new credit card the day after I signed up on RJ and seen all the ones sold through the auction thread, just for my madness! Nothing listed yet, but I'm hopeful.
The Rodan is one of my favorites, he's mint with box. The rubberbands are still sealed so I put others on so I could display him. But I think my all time favorite right now is my custom Mattel Raydeen.

There's only one duplicate in the bunch, a Gaiking, and that's because I'm looking for a wing for the one. Well, the Mattel versions never came with a wing, only the popy or uni-five versions did. I made and sold a custom wing a couple years ago for the mattel version. Was one of my early custom jobs. I saw on ebay recently, a couple guys sold their wings and got a pretty good return on them. I may have made around a dozen back then. A few individually and a couple on some extra GaiKings I had. I still have the wing mold around somewhere and likely needs a washing for dust collecting on it. So, kinda like a quote from MadMax  Max: Two days ago, I saw a vehicle that would haul that tanker. You want to get out of here? You talk to me. |

Doubtless unnecessary for my props to the man but I just got some repro parts from Bourno (left Mazinger fist and left Goldorak/Grandizer fist and a chest V to cover to go over the sticker on Euro version) and his craftsmanship is amazing. Probably better than the originals. Especially his launching stem for launching fists. Instead of hollow like the originals which tend to get the tip ripped off from the pressure they are solid but with grooves cut out on sides in an X pattern to minimize the weight and not make them too heavy to fly across the room and scare the crap out of your dog. I was VERY impressed. I'll be placing another request with you in a day or two my friend!! |

Built an 3 tier, 8 foot long shelf today, to try and get my jumbos organized better. Told myself that I wouldn't put them on the shelf until that one was cleaned and finished up. Well, that idea died really quickly when I started to place couple up. I do need to get the Spazer put back together and some of the jumbos crowded together on the bottom need some finishing and maybe thin out duplicates. Your collection has grown exponentially! Did you get the Getta 1 from Kitsir? It looks phenomenal. Have you given any thought to putting Popy stickers on your Disco Daitetsujin? Have you gotten the BFJ stickers from Will? I really enjoy looking at collections and how they're displayed.
