Thanks toykrazy! I sold my Mattel Goldorak too....didn't want to but needed to recoup some of the $$ I spent on this Popy Daimos. Contemplated selling my entire Shogun line but then came to my senses. I can't part with what started it all for me. When the dust settles I'll start looking to find another Goldorak too.

Thanks Gil! I'm excited...it's been a while since I bought a nice Popy JM. It still hurts that I sold my Goldorak. I had an extra Daimos, so I sold him off with no regrets. Thinking about selling off some chogokins just to ease the pain. This hobby is so addictive. Once I sell off some stuff I then get depressed and think about trying to recollect what I just sold. I'm sure that I'm not the only one with this problem.

No sir, you really are not alone!! I have a couple Mattel Jumbo's I've been going back and forth about selling for over a month! They're not extras, they're different editions. I know I'll end up moving them, I'm just really having a hard time doing it. Especially the Goldorak!

Selling off my Goldorak was tough but when my Popy Daimos arrives, I'm sure I'll be more at peace with my decision. I rationalized my decision like this; Popy JM's are much harder to come across, especially for collectors here in the U.S. I'll be able to replace any Mattel JM's quicker (even Goldorak) before I'll be able to find even the most common of Popy JM's. Plus, although all JM's kick-a$#, Popy JM's are so much more detailed and better made. I get more satisfaction staring at them for hours than I do my Shogun Warrior JM's. Again, not to be misconstrued, I love the Shogun line and want them all in my collection but with limited funds and a wife who already thinks I'm bat sh^% crazy to begin with, I have to make these strategic decisions, LOL!

Some nice additions there guys. Jeff, I am glad to see that you found a Popy Daimos. It is definitely a worthwhile piece to add to your collection.
I'm sorry that I haven't been very active here for the past several months but my business has eaten most of my time since June and now that things are just starting to settle down I spent a bit of time reading and catching up.

Wes, thanks for being willing to help with the antennas, once my students get to a point that I have an hour or so free at night I will look into working on them.
Bowhntr: Yeah, The drill looks awesome. When I saw bourno working on them I knew that I needed one. My top three were Combattler, Poseidon, and Jeeg. I still need Poseidon and Jeeg but I will have to worry about those two next year. Combattler emptied my war chest for this year.
