Jeff, the Getter One is a bootleg from Mexico. It doesn't separate into the 2 parts. I should add a white button in the torso and would be very hard to not know it wasn't from Japan. It is made very well with blowmold plastic and quite clean. Next from the jumbos, I am so impressed with the DX diecast figures for their heft and engineering. I just got in the DX Voltes and need to get feet for my slowly piecing together "budget" DX Combattler. When I got the GA-79 Dangard, I thought it was big until I got these other two and makes Dangard look small Would like to expand into the SOC line.

The upper shelf is right around 5 foot, the downstairs ceiling is at 7-1/2 feet.
Maybe in the near future, I may modify the shelving to a "bleacher" affect to add another row by starting with a 20" on the bottom, then 15", and to a 10", instead of the 15" and 15" shelf, but still need the 20" on top for displaying the big ship.

That should add breathing room for about 9 jumbos. While nice to see the whole jumbo, this would allow expansion and still see the upper body well.
Thoughts or other suggestions?

Wes,
I think the bleacher effect would work well. My jumbos are kind of set up that way (only two shelves) and I love the fact that you can see most of the jumbos at all times. They aren't over lapping and When I want to I can add a third riser to the back.

A bleacher set up would be awesome. The only reason that I wasted all my money on Ikea Detolf cases was that it allowed me to see each Jumbo in its entirety. Sometimes, when Jumbos are all crammed together, you don't get an appreciation of how awesome their designs are. That being said, I know the reality for most, including me, is that we live in houses/apartments that afford limited space and we have to work with what we have.

I love the ikea setup rodman its like a expensive wall of art. I can see where it would fill up quick though. I would go around whole room and have a jumbo 360. For me i would use them for my favorite pieces but with your collection they would all be my favorite.

Robonutter: I really like him. The details on the sculpt are crisp and the sculpt and paint on the helmet are amazing. He has a good weight to him, heavier than most jumbos that I have Seems like solid construction too.

So far in my collection: 3 raideens 2 gaikings 1 mazinga All in various forms of repair. Now I'm just hunting parts. Looking for site I can turn to for both original or repro parts. I know of shogun plastics. Extremely nice work. Any other sites?
