If only it had more diecast given the high price--more than the 1/48 Valks.

That looks amazing, why does that store already have one on display? Does yamato allow stores to purchase product samples prior to its release ? Anyhoo, this would really look good with my 1/65 - 1/55 valks to keep a "rough" scale consistency to my display

Kinda like how Japanese restaurants put plastic displayes of the foods they offer outside the store to entice customers. Yamato gives them out to toy stores willing to carry their toy lines. ;D

man, $200 for this, it is expensive . i thought the price of this would be just around $100 because it is 1/60 scale.

ah ok, tnx for the info ricky. i think that makes sense. but i hope yamato lowers their prices in the future bro. like chen said, $100 is more or less a good price for a 1/48 .

The whole 'price' discussion just goes back to why are toy companies pricing these things ridiculously? That's because there are still a lot of fanboys willing to spend on them. It's that simple.

Chen, this isn't exactly the 1/60 VF-0S, but the battroid mode of the 1/60 VF-0S is only a few milimeters shorter than the 1/48 VF-1. Here's a side by side shot of the 1/72 HCM by Banda, the 1/48 VF-1A by Yamato, and the 1/60 VF-1A by Yamato. You'll see the difference in height.
