Very cool! I would buy this. Droids are about the only thing I care about at this point. Just so burned out on SW these last few years. But yeah bring on a gokin R2 while their at it! :-)

Awesome! I'd buy it! Especially if they followed up with R2 as he is probably more popular.

Cool, but I can't celebrate it when there are so many other Japanese robots left to be made... }|

"First ever elbow articulation"... in this age of toy making pimping that sounds like a joke! (and is also a low blow to Luca's SW toys LOL ).

Haha, I think it's also a bit of a blow at the original C3P0 movie suit, since I don't think that thing could move its elbows either! (or at least, the actor certainly never was able to move them very much). This is a cool idea, and while I'm not foaming at the mouth to buy it, it's neat to see these little forays into less obvious choices of figures for Bandai

I'd say it's much less redundant than your whining and b*tching.

They must not have busted out with this until Sunday. I never saw it all convention long and was at the booth every day It wasn't show cased at the bluefin/bandai exhibit. You had to go over to the sideshow collectible exhibit to see it. Anyway, i found the C3PO was way more interesting than the Dx chogokin Mazinger Z. Barely anyone walked by there and looked at the Mazinger Z display. People of America just couldn't care less for Mazinger and it shows. I was at the convention with a preview pass and was there each day people at the bluefin booth looked at the Gundam display, the Godzilla, Tiger & Bunny and DragonBall Z stuff. We have more people going ape $hit over a my little pony figure vs the DX SOC Mazinger Z.

I agree Mazinger Z was not really exciting the people at that show. I don't think enough people even knew who he was. Very sad.
How was sideshow related to a Chogokin C-3PO anyways? Is it their release or Bandai's? Did they do the sculpt or 3D scan or something?

It sucked! When I told people about the DX Mazinger they ran over to look at it. Instantly. But all said the same thing "Why is it buried in the back?"

Bluefin, whoever they are, totally do not get how to market things. Their booth was horrible. Bad lighting, as seen by the sh*tty pics we all got. Bad design, cramped. Hard to really learn anything. And unfriendly staff. Lucky the products sell themselves.

They had one guy who was super friendly and tried to be helpful. Cannot remember his name but he was into Gunpla heavy but appreciated anything robot. He had kinda blondish/brown hair that was kinda wildly styled. He was really cool. Other than that. Yeah. Craptacular lighting. Super cramped. Going in there to see the DX Mazinger was ugh. Most people did not know it was there. That beautiful creation should have been on the outside so all could see.

I'd say it's much less redundant than your whining and b*tching. Its such a peachy idea and so super that everyone should love every single thing put out by Bandai and all the companies, and we should all agree, and NEVER challenge any toys idea,or have any ideas of our own!.Then we can all live happily ever after in a beautiful perfect sugarcoated world, hand in hand.ahhhhhhh.wonderful! BTW thanks for the compliment!I think it's so awesome how if your opinion is different and you voice it,its called whining, thats such a great idea, what I call progressive thinking!Wow gee thanks for opening my eyes with your imaginative response, can I have your autograph,or a lock of your hair?

Probably because america isnt exposed to Mazinger obviously, but Star Wars is crammed down our throats, and not many people here look beyond whats on TV or the theaters which is very sad.
