I'd say it's much less redundant than your whining and b*tching. Its such a peachy idea and so super that everyone should love every single thing put out by Bandai and all the companies, and we should all agree, and NEVER challenge any toys idea,or have any ideas of our own!.Then we can all live happily ever after in a beautiful perfect sugarcoated world, hand in hand.ahhhhhhh.wonderful! BTW thanks for the compliment!I think it's so awesome how if your opinion is different and you voice it,its called whining, thats such a great idea, what I call progressive thinking!Wow gee thanks for opening my eyes with your imaginative response, can I have your autograph,or a lock of your hair? There's a difference between stating an individual opinion in a constructive manner and calling everything that doesn't fit your personal likings "crap" and "stupid sh*t". There are lots of other forums where this kind of attitude is the norm and spewing sarcasm is confused with wits. What used to be so great about Robot-Japan's is that it wasn't one of those. Yes, there is a lot of Star Wars "crap". Dollar stores were full of them when The Phantom Menace came out. But this chogokin is not. You think it's unnecessary because there's so much "crap" out there already? Find me one good alternative to this one. I've waited many years for one quality diecast C3PO. The closest thing was that 200$ 1/6-scale Medicom figure with 0 diecast content. I'm not addicted to diecast to the point that it's a deal-breaker, but considering how huge a franchise Star Wars is and the amount of licensed products that come out year after year, I thought a SOC-level C3PO was bound to happen sooner or later. And there it is. And it's not crap.

NEVER challenge any toys idea,or have any ideas of our own!. Ah, I see, so you're saying you agree with companies having new ideas and trying new things! From your past posts I had assumed you didn't like Bandai having new ideas and producing new and different toys. It's good to see you finally accepting products like this C3P0.

The bluefin booth was all about selling and did next to nothing to promote the up and coming items. Brochure were on racks and they have videos but didn't have much in terms of people promoting stuff. At least give out a bandai tote bag or something with a purchased. I got the D-arts Vile figure along with a SH Figuarts Gohan at the booth and that was pretty much it. I can only think of one reason for the C-3PO to be shown at the Sideshow booth, and it is because the sideshow booth has lots of really cool StarWars statue display. Sideshow themselves is a distribution company and sells stuff from all manufactures. They have Hot Toys items, 3A, Bandai, Kotobukiya etc... One of the best free items I got was from the Sideshow booth. They gave out gift cards valued between $20-$100. I checked mines on Monday and it was for $100. Too bad only around 124 items were eligible for gift card redemption and more than half of those were over the $100 range. Still it was pretty cool to get a MG Deathsythe Hell EW and a RG Aile Strike Kit for just 10$ and the price of shipping.

From your past posts I had assumed you didn't like Bandai having new ideas and producing new and different toys. It's good to see you finally accepting products like this C3P0. Im saying the exact opposite, its ok to challenge a new toy idea I mean arent they for us??I dont think companies make toys for themselves,so I dont warm up to a character done to death so what? The toy isnt crap,I was saying in a general sense there is enough Star wars out there, isnt the market flooded with it?Yes Ill give you there isnt any full diecast Star Wars figures, but there are alot of C3PO in many sizes.i would have welcomed a figure of a rarer character robot.Im 38 Ive seen this franchise and collected it since I was 5,ok?Id like to see some more rare things from Bandai, like the SOC line, there are PLENTY of more 70s robots to go.But then noone seems to like odd 70s robots, which I praise.Noone cares when I praise things soem of you dont like, but when I give a negative point your all over it. Look dont read my posts then,I have a right to say what Iwant, and if only I read it ,so be it.But Im sure there are those who share my sentiments.Ill try not to down things in such a negative way,but some of you act like you gave birth to these items, are your feelings hurt because I call something for what I think it is?I guess ill keep my views to myself from now on,as I guess here we are supposed to like everything.

I dont think companies make toys for themselves Maybe they should... that has been the success of Apple in the past 15 years. Steve made things HE wanted, and turned out everyone else also wanted them.

Do like I now do... let the manufactures how you feel by NOT buying these type of products. If enough people disregard releases like this one, the manufacturers will start giving a little bit more thought to what they decide to make in the future. }D

I bought the Chogokin Buzz Lightyear. It's really a gorgeous piece. This one looks cool as well, although it would be lame without an R2-D2

Getting in touch with your inner child doesn't mean acting like an 8-year old. You can collect "toys", even play with them, and still act like an adult.

Hmmm, nope, I don't think so. It is physically impossible to play with a toy and 'behave like an adult' at the same time. But that is a topic for another thread. }D

C3PO and R2D2 (and the Xwing and Tie fighter ships) are the Only things I adore about the Classic Star Wars era. If it weren't for these droids I'd dismiss SW altogether, because I don't wanna invest my hard-earned money to fatten up the Lucas enterprise.
If I were to score this C3P0 figure, I'd also demand for an R2D2 figure to go with this. Those two droids were "married" throughout the SW movie legacy, therefore they shouldn't be separated here in toyland. Separating them would be a violation of the Same-Circuit Marriage Act, snap! snap! Toucheyyyyy. ;D

I used to collect SW stuff, but when it started to expand to all kinds of universes and repaints, I decided to stop. I still have a Snowspeeder, some old 3.75" action figures, a lightsaber, and a handful of the 12" figures, as well as the 14" Electronic Darth Vader figure (which is the most awesome SW figure ever made). Other than that, I'm pretty much done with anything SW... until they make a real working Lightsaber that is! ;D
