Its too dark in here to video right now but I need some help ID'ing his edition. I think its 2nd.
His racks hold 5 missiles his knees are on th lower leg so not split knees. hes got the separate chest piece hes got "made in japan" on his back pelvis japanese wrtiting and the Popy logo on back chest thats all the writing he has, no copyright info on the back pelvis screw in shoulder racks.
head has triangle cut for the Condor and two slots in the crown for the wings head looks kinda pointed like the first edtion.
(2nd edtion???)
I just need willohio to get back with me on a waist sticker kit

The black part show scuffs worse than any other part of the toy. So far, everything that I have tried to get them out on a junker that I have been practicing on has just made them worse.

Im thinking about auto body buffing compond and a orbital buffer.. PE seems real tough though. not sure it will buff.

wont buff well. if the scuffs really matter that much ( i leave mine) use scratch filler or turtle wax. i dont recommend either as it will turn into residue scum after some time, especially if you live in a hot and humid area.

I guess Ill just leave em, they arent that bad in normal lighting. Im sitting here looking at him.. you ever seen those Monster Kolor customs? Wonder if that destroys all collector value? Could be that some guy may like having something like that in thier collection. it would be expensive to do though.

I once read on this board that someone had success cleaning up scratches with fine (red colored) scotchbrite. Don't confuse with the green colored, coarse Scotchbrite.

I like them a lot and the talent it takes to do that is incredible. I would rather use my money to buy a jumbo that I didn't have versus having a customized jumbo. Once I attained my 'wish list' of jumbos, I might consider grabbing one of these but not until then.

do you mean the monster kolor video? i dont think the color scheme really matches the jumbo design. its like fischer price vs. car paint. theyre already tricked out in their original state. to pin stripe them and use dazzling paint is almost against the basic principles of design used.

I think it looks cool, Something you dont see every day. I saw a photo of a Mazinga that had been "battle damaged" and it looked pretty sweet.
