It also looks like we find out what the panels in the legs are for. It seems you can go with perfect transformation and use the wheels stored in the chest along with fold out wheels from the legs like in the old Popy version or you can go with more anime accurate wheel struts like on the Yamato version. Very nice and shows why SOC's are still the top for engineering.

Release Date: July 2013 Price: 12,600 Yen Height: 19 cm What happened to the days of the $80 SOC releases? For its size, isn't it a bit expensive?!?! I do like that they posed it next to the vintage DX toy, so we can see a side-by-side comparison.

Not really I was expecting more, compared to Daioja or Dygenguar set this thing is positively cheap. It costs more then your standard SOC but way less then the complex transforming ones. I think it's a good compromise, it will still have metal and full combining features but it will roughly be 7.5" but then again it will only roughly cost twice as much as a SRC and at current exchange rates be around $130-140 and that's before you get the usual pre-order discount.

Yeah after AmiAmi discount hopefully be around $120 shipped. It's def worth twice the average SRC.
I'm sure AmiAMi will order plenty to go around. At that price with many people will buy two, even three to keep one in mint.
I'm just concerned about his lower leg being maybe a hollow plastic like SOC Reideen... Hopefully Bandai learned from the past...then again.

Can't wait to get it. So glad that I didn't purchase the Yamato one. Also glad that it is tiny, I don't have any shelf space anymore. Oh yeah, and this is like the least most expensive SOC in a long time, right Lots to celebrate about...

This one I want. Don't know much amount DanGuard Ace but I like this one. You see the other thread about the decline in SoC popularity and such, it wouldn't happen if we get more popular SR like this. There haven't been a SoC that I seriously wanted since GX-55 Houraioh. GX-59 Daltaneous came close but that one price me out. Smaller size will go good in display with the SRC and take up less shelf space. Price with discount is really doable. Especially if the yen to usd comes closer to 100 to 1 again.

Can't wait to get this!! And as far as the latest SOC I love them! I thought Daltanious and Godsigma were two of the best ever. The Yamato was amazing. I couldn't afford it but the andromeda looked amazing too. We may be getting less releases but they are all top notch.

Dangard Ace looks fantastic. I might have to get one if it really is perfect transformation. I love the mini Sky Arrow.

I agree with KingboyD, Bandai usually price their mid-sized SOCs at around $90 or less. Is it because of the engineering involved? Production costs went up 50%? Or they finally realized that "collectors" will pay ANY price to get their japanese robot toy fix? If it is the latter, I blame Fewture and CM's for this trend (not to mention the 3rd party TF guys). If it's at least 9 inches tall, I wouldn't b*tch about it, but 7.5? Getting a little greedy there Bandai. But I'm still getting this ;D
