No one knows if it'll get released as a toy or model.

Neat...like the design but a Roy Focker color scheme is more wicked looking......hoping they make an anime with it.....and throw in an xbox 360 game version as well

Yup it shouldn't be region encoded and there are sites that will translate the functions of the game for you.

Stealth design on wings gives a nice touch. Shoji Jawamori showed the new joints features for this model : WAIST joint folks ! The Lego prototype showed another transformation gimmick for shoulders.
Only Bluray movies (not games) suffer from region location on PS3 system (I can't play my TF Prime season 1 blurays...).

I was refering to this video :
Rotation of the shoulder can incorporate front wing and avoid a system of hinges (which would fold this flap and be less aesthetic). This YF-30 prototype show us a beautifull shape. Bandai staff + Koji Kawamori know to excel each time and propose models more realistic, where alt mode and bot mode are a lesson design.

There just regular Lego sets, nothing special. He's been using Lego to help design Macross stuff for years. It's just imagination.

Good news on YF-30! No info yet whether it will be a Tamashii exclusive or not, but the prototype will be shown at Tamashii Nation 2013 (in November?).
The super parts for VF-25A will be tamashii exclusive though.

Nice! I guess it doesn't really matter lately being an exclusive or not since Bandai seemed to address the supply problem.

It's an interesting design, but I have to admit I'm not in love with the Beta Legioss style missile pod hanging out over the Battroid's head. Hopefully that's something that can be swung down onto the back between those voluminous wings sticking out back there. It's also kind of a bummer that the more recent frontier battroids are getting larger and larger wing kibble. The original 25 wasn't too bad, and the 27's at least folded up a bit, but it seems like the 30, like the 29, just commits to having the wings dangling off like a huge cape sticking straight out backwards. :/ It's not very space-friendly!

Found this overview : What SDF-1 is that? Are those Yamato / Arcadia on the middle shelf and Bandai below? I am all kinds of confused now.
