Man, I know this thread has been cooling off for quite a while but every time I log in I have to come check it out. I love my Mattel Daimos but would much rather have a Popy'd up version sitting on the shelf. I think that as soon as time/finances allow it I'll be converting him. It'll be a shame to pull the decals off since they're in good shape but the Popy upgrade just looks so fantastic. Really a shame that Mattel couldn't bring just a bit more of the majesty to their version.

Personally I think the biggest difference is made with those cuffs! They just turn it into a really sharp looking bot.
