Wow, makes me want to buy that WM2. I have Iron Patriot on order though - that should satisfy my want for a die cast figure.
Unfortunately I have to be really picky now.. with our first kidlet on the way wifey has cut my spending.

Prototype maybe done but it is a big risk for hot toys. I think it might never get released, it will become a one-off show piece.

yeah, I got mine from Ami Ami. Super impressed.. only issue with it are that the ankles are both sorta floppy.

I know a couple of peeps over at TBDX also buy from Eric Wong over at Toy2...he's got a modest shop over in Markham, ON...but, I think he's got good prices and has come through for me a couple times when I was after an elusive item.
He's also preordering the Fewture Shin Getter if you're after one. Given the size, it is a cheaper alternative for me to order within Canada.

Thanks for the tip. I'll consider him next time..  On another note, my War Machine toppled over on the kitchen table and broke his spine.. has anyone had this happen?   Or some suggestions on how to fix.. I was thinking of getting some ball joints (or the like) from HLJ and gluing them in but I can't get the screw covers off the torso without severly damaging them. And does anyone know where this part broke off from?  |

Got my Iron Patriot friday! Wasn't sure if I really liked paying 300 for a repaint at first but it's growing on me. I just realized my War Machine mk2 has a really loose ankle though. Does anyone know how to take apart the leg to tighten it?  Hot Toys Iron Patriot-2 by siningy, on Flickr |
