hahaha, never even heard of any of that stuff, old Acroyear from old Micronauts I know.this is a Super Robot forum.Dude no one really collects those types of toys here I dont think, your asking about low end plastic .Maybe a comparison to a CMs magnetic toy would be probably the only comparison youll find here, even though Et stuff is plastic nothing relates to it in this niche of collecting besides a Jeeg or a Barattack etc,.Comparing magnetic joints to Transformers non magnetic joints is like apples to soccerballs.

LOL... Sorry bro, I don't have those either. }D Well my main concern is that the joints will come apart just from their own weight. Like in the case of Albegas here... I question if it will be able to hold a pose in combined mode without collapsing in on itself.

All the other releases do, so I don't see why the Albegas wouldn't. }D

Then just wait until it is released. I'm sure people will post lots of info about it after they got it. Hopefully it doesn't sell out before then. }D

I guess it may sell out. Maybe 1 or 2 months after release
Companies like Bandai / Mattel typically know their markets well and manufacture with a good margin for error, so they don't have a ton of stock left over. Distributors usually end up sitting on a lot of the excess toys. And they (the Distributors) slowly sell off without loosing their pants. I would say if Dynamite sold out the last few toys they made (and EBAY is your only hope for them), then they will probably sell out of this one also. But I look at this price tag and compare the size of it - I guess there will be plenty available after it is released (And I'm not talking E-Bay). (See BBTS and 100 Mazinger DXs)

True. Being so expensive it's a plus for those who rather wait to buy one after it has been released. I may be wrong about this, but I don't a lot of folks will jump into the pre-order for it, mainly because of the advertised size of the figure in relation to it's price. }D

My only worry is the shipping cost after the fact. Like how much of that deep discount will shipping EMS eat up compared to say BBTS or HLJ with Fed-Ex. Im not sure if I would ship something like this via SAL given the lack of insurance.

You can probably figure that, depending on the dollar/yen exchange rate, shipping will be between $40 to $50 for EMS from Amiami. }D

I'm curious if in combined mode where the 2nd and 3rd set of arms go? Toy looks nice but I hope it's a combiner with no part swapping (part hiding)
I've heard mix reviews on their toys and the magnets.
I'm "on the fence" with this guy.....

Since this toy uses the magnets gimmick, it is going to be a parts-former. As for the magnet quality, I have both Gaiking and Tetsujin 28 Go, and they are pretty decent. They are no SOC quality, but the magnets are strong enough to do their stuff.

Same with the ones I have. And yeah, these are not perfect transformation figures at all. They are designed to swap their parts. Think of them as pre-painted and pre-assembled model kits with magnetic/mechanical hybrid joints. }D

HOLY FREAKING CRAP! I just found out about this guy! It really is a good year to be a voltron fan! Does anyone know how tall this guy is? Only about 6 inches, approx 15.24cm, maybe a bit bigger but not much. Is this 6 inches combined? Or 6 inches for each of the individual bots? I'm hoping it's 6" for the individual bots so that we get a slightly taller combined Albegas. If its 6 inches combined, then those individual bots are going to be really small!! lol
