Of the toys they already made, this looks like the one toy that the magnet gimmick will work perfectly for. I hope they are strong magnets.

I meant as great news to me!!!!!!!!!! I love Vehicle and Albegas!!! I feel you in both ways.... I love ALBEGAS. The Matchbox original was just crappy material. But i would love to see it. In reference to someone else's comment... Please let's pray nothing else takes the path of VEHICLE MP-1!!! The delay is killer.

One Voltron I never cared for. Though I would like one in my collection some day just for completeness. You know, what ever happened to all of the Voltron IIs? When I was a kid the stores were always littered with these just setting on the shelf while all the other Voltrons sold. I mean there has got to be a ton of these sitting in some storage units or warehouses mint-in-box. Some dude on Ebay has like 10+ red ones he is always selling for $50 each. So someone has got to have more black and blue ones too.

This Dynamite Action Albegas is cool and will do for now, until we get a full size transforming version from one of the bigger companies. When is the release date on this?
I really hope that Bandai or CM's can produce a full size transforming Albegas for us someday.

I thought that too and a while back. So I was trying to research it. Here is what I found: 1) Looks like they made a average amount of each color (BLUE, RED, BLACK). Couldn't confirm this as MFG never give this out. 2) Stores had less of the BLUE on the shelves. Someone else mentioned this & I remember seeing more Blacks & Reds. 3) The Blues broke very easily at the hip. (Everyone always complained about the hip joint. So I'm guess poor design coupled with the Blue Plastic being brittle caused easy breaking.) (This could also explain why they had less Blues released. Probably had the issue from the start.) I don't think there is a warehouse with these. It's probably like the 20" Trendmasters Black Lion. Brittle shoulder plastic caused alot of units to fail. So finding a GOOD one is even harder.

I haven't seen a release date yet, but I'm sure it will be on the expensive side. Lucky enough the Dollar to Yen exchange rate seems to be working in our favor now... }D

It better not be too expensive. It doesn't even transform into the 3 robots and is a small figure.

Not sure. The picture on CollectionDX (Linked at top) shows it in a bunch of different variations.

Not sure. The picture on CollectionDX (Linked at top) shows it in a bunch of different variations. The body thirds are interchangeable to form any of the six stackable formations; however, they do not form the individual Alpha, Beta, and Gamma robots separately. And if this toy is like previously released robots from the Dynamite Action series from ET, then it will be approximately 180mm or roughly 7" tall. The combined Sanbai Plasma sword is cool though but it looks to be one piece and appears that it doesn't split apart which is also proof the 3 individual robots might not exist. I'm hoping I stand corrected though soon, because I really want the full transformation. But unless the transformation will be a huge "parts former" style, that's the only way I can see the Alpha, Beta and Gamma robots modes existing for us based on the pictures we see.

I have no problems with swapping parts to achieve a perfect anime look, so I'm in still then! }D

I really liked the original Matchbox figures. I think their material was sub-standard, but I would spend more money if they worked with that design, just better materials.

The reason why he cant be turned into the 3 robots is they dont include upper legs and hip parts like the old one has that folded into the legs. this is what it will look like if you try to make one out of ET version,LOL Below that the original matchbox version see the missing parts! is what is missing from top You will be able to make teh six arm Albegas though.

I'll get Albegas but not because I'm a Evolution fan but because no one else is making one.
