Magnetic joints are lowering the production costs. Ratchet joints involve lots of parts (means severals molds). The bonus is you can mix all toys of this line to create amazing combos. But this ET line is really too much expensive. I pass a lot of these because of price (and lack of paint aps, qc, plastic colors, etc)...

Heck, with plastic figures you do not NEED rachet joints. Robot Spirits does a good job without them

Damn delays! This is the age of broken promises and irresponsible companies! If they are not certain they can put a product out by a set date, then DON'T give out any *&%@#&! release dates!!! }[

Delays suck. BUT.... hopefully the delay is due to them stepping up the quality of plastic. This will be my first evolution figure and some of the comments/reviews have me concerned. Seems they shoukd adjust the price point or step up the quality. Regardless I'm in on Algegas and curious to have my hands on a evolution figure.

Revoltech does just fine using THEIR silly novelty joints, what's the difference here? besides the fact that Revoltech is a hell of a lot cheaper and does popular robots instead of underappreciated robots....

True. But they are not on $200 figures. The magnet joints just look wonky aesthetically.

I think that stronger magnets would solve 90% of the problems. There are some magnets that are stronger that many ratchet joints used in SOC and SRC figures (Baron Karza stares at me). IMO, ET needs to invest a little more money on better and stronger magnets, that's all. }D

Got my payment notice from Amiami. I didn't get a payment notice from Amiami. But I did get a Change of Release Date Notice from them. Already heard this was coming out in late December, but the note from Amiami officially says so now. Just means more time to save.

Whoops my bad I double checked and got the same e-mail. It got pushed back, I must have gotten it mixed up with the payment notice for my Revoltech Mighty Jack.

I know, but it would be super freaking hard to shed out close to $400 or more for two of these plastic figures. I'm happy I pre-paid mine back when I had money! }D

Bro, I've been ready for this guy for months! I just hope it doesn't disappoint me after eagerly waiting all this time. I can't honestly say that this has been a great year as far as me being happy with the final product (figures) I've received. The large majority of them have been a little disappointing so far... with the exception of the DX Mazinger Z and MP Vehicle Voltron. }D

I haven't owned one yet. Do you have any?
