Wow, that is GENIUS, TMZ! Lemme guess: Gundam kit hands 1/100 scale from the generic Gundam articulated hand sets that are seen sold at HLJ, right? zozo-mag Correct! }D

I knew it by the appearance of their knuckles. zozo-mag

Most, if not all of the figures articulated hands are going to have a similar knuckle design. If they didn't, their articulation would suffer some.

I know. But, we don't see too many figures using those hands, except for Gundam kits and custom root figures by other hobbyists. Good call on using those hands for the GGG. zozo-mag

They also have them with "round" fingers, for a more classic Super Robot look. }D

A couple of days ago, I finally received my first Miracle Production Vehicle Voltron from Toyfreakz.com. I was amazed how awesome this figure is in person. A lot of comments I'd seen on this Voltron were pretty much negative. A lot of complaining about how bad it was designed, how heavy it was for the connections, how poor the paint was, etc. Well, I am very happy to say that mine was 90% perfect. It did, unfortunately, had a defective Right Hand (sword holding hand). I have since contacted Toyfreakz.com, and they said they will send me a replacement via Priority Mail. It also had a completely frozen waist joint, the one that rotates the torso. I disassembled the waist vehicle and discovered that it would not rotate because the cog was full of excess flash (Flash is the thin plastic attached to the edges that is left when molding a part). I removed the flash with a razor, reassembled the waist vehicle, and the joint worked perfectly. Other than that, this figure rocks! Of course, since I always try to make my figures as anime accurate as possible, I had to do a few things to the Voltron myself. First, I removed the Copter rotor blades: Vehicle Voltron / Dairugger XV was looking pretty good already, but there was something that was still bugging me... the Non-anime-accurate red nose on the blue copter! So today, I gave it the first shot at correcting that personal eye-sore. Matching the blue paint is pretty much impossible, but I just had to do something to get rid of that red nose... I mixed some blue paint until I came as close as I could to the blue on the rest of the copter. I may repaint it later, if I find a way to make the blue match better. Anyway, I think it looks pretty freaking awesome now!!! }D

nice, i never realize that the left copter's nose cone was suppose to be blue instead of red, i see why they gave it red color, just its more varied and not like a solid blue piece that is join in another blue piece (the upper torso)plus was a reference to the old toy that was like white and red.
now i think its missing the blue lines in certain areas, but other than that awesome touch up TMZ, that blue pretty much looks kinda identical.

That shoulder touchup (the blue paint) looks perfect, now your VV is starting to look more anime-accurate. A'ight... I'll toss in two custom jobs that are actually paint-jobs done by Baron Weirwulf... 1... First up, the GX-45 with custom red/white paint-job... Origin, according to Baron: he wanted to paint this as a "Captain America" styled patriotic red/white/blue design. I think it would have looked really nice. I guess he kinda liked how this color scheme turned out, and so he left it just red and white. Now that we think about it, this GX-45 red/white still looks Patriotic: the flag of Japan! 2... Custom re-painted Revoltech Mazinkaiser... Origin, according to Baron: This here Revoltech Mazinkaiser was among a few things I sent to Baron for a trade-in. The original color of this Mazinkaiser was badly worn due to cigarette smoke while in my possession. I tried to clean it up with hot water and soap, but it didn't turn out properly clean; AND it strongly stank of cigarette odor. Somehow Baron cleaned it up and gave it a fresh new white-armor paint-job... ...now it looks good as new to this day. Baron sent this one back and got himself a new Revoltech Mazinkaiser figure. If I can find White Revoltech joints for his thighs, or paint those gray thigh joints, he'll look so complete. Someday I might wanna cast a resin copy of this Revoltech Mazinkaiser and paint its limb armor to metallic silver. zozo-mag

Since Bandai has not given any more indication that an SRC GaoFighGar will ever be released, I decided to take it upon myself to give the SRC GaoGaiGar its 100% Earth Made Mechanoid replacement... More pics of my custom GaoFighGar in action later! }D
