I need to get this guy finished. Once the SRC comes out, I don't think I'll be messing with it anymore. }D

Anyway, back on topic... Scrapped the first prototype. Moving on to the Ver 2.0: This is not the finished product, as it still needs a couple of details done. But so far, it's looking a lot better than my first attempt. }D

now those new biceps looks way better than the previews prototype one where for me looked bit to long. can it still give out movement as well are you gonna do that dent in the bicept where the TSP connects and expose the gold of the elbow?.

Thanks guys! Doing what I can with my piss-poor eyesight. Drout, yes, the biceps have the same range of motion as the original ones, and yes, I'm gonna do the indentation in the front and the thing that protrudes in the back as well. Mag, it sure does! Something that Bandai should've done from the start. Since I am dreading the work ahad on the thighs, I decided to do the Kaiser-Pileder next. Here is what the first prototype looks like: I had to give it some color in order to see how it was going to look, so no - that is not a finished paint job. Still, even this prototype is 100 times better looking than the original football Bandai used. }D

That modified Kaiser Pilder is Killin it! Keep up the good work! That is what I would have done to mine ( without removing the Pilder), was to use a thin file or sculpting knife to carve some fat off that Kaiser Pilder's hull. Then I'd use a single brush bristle to apply the paint. Those thighs do not seem to be removable... if you wanna get rid of those flanges from the thighs, you'd have to use a flat fine-tooth file and gently file the flanged edges down by hand until the edge of the thigh is blended flush with the surface. Practice first on a copper pipe, to develop your filing technique...gently rub the file across the edge of the pipe in a back-n-forth Circular motion. ...if you file back-n-forth Straight motion, the file will leave deep lines in the surface of the thigh which could show up through the new paint-job. Filing in a gentle circular motion should have the same 'smoothing' effect as though you were using sandpaper. Which is what an orbital sander is designed to do. ( DO NOT use Any power-tools on an SRC figure, or else you'll damage the SRC) Practice with a pipe BEFORE you apply this method to the SRC. Good luck, and keep us posted! zozo-mag
