Greeting everyone! I just joined yesterday. I was trying to find more info on some of my old toys that I was finally able to bring to Canada from the Philippines. So doing some searches on info for chogokin/popy/clover vintage toys brought me to this site.
Hope to upload some pictures soon.
Mike

Should I be creating a new thread if I post pictures? Or do I do in in an existing one?

Hi guys, I'm having a problem uploading pictures to the site.
I had originally tried to upload some pictures from my iPhone, but since each picture was around 2MB, it was over the limit. So I shrank down each picture to around 800KB, but I am still getting the same error.
Should the file size be even smaller?
Anyhoo....for now I still created a new thread and attached the direct photobucket links.

So I shrank down each picture to around 800KB, but I am still getting the same error. Should the file size be even smaller? Anyhoo....for now I still created a new thread and attached the direct photobucket links. The Proboards server for Robot-Japan is no longer accepting attachments since we've reached the server's storage limit quite some time ago. That's what those error messages are saying. The only way the server can free up space is if the admin/moderators were to delete very old threads with attachments that are out-dated or no longer of any useful reference to us. But that would also mean folks who have uploaded directly by attachments would have to re-post their images via file hosts such as Photobucket, etc. As long as you can post your images with direct links ("hot-linking") you'll be fine. Besides, we all enjoy viewing larger photos to admire the detail. Also, as you insert your images, you can click on them... ...a boundary-selection box will appear around the image, and you can hold your mouse at the corner of the image and drag the corner diagonally upwards to re-size your images to fit this page so viewers won't have to drag a scroll-bar to view the entire image. But, re-sizing your images is an option entirely up to you. Thanks for sharing, and Welcome to RJ! zozo-mag

Just a quick hello! My name is Steve and I reside in Pittsburgh, and I'm into my fourth decade of loving this type of toy. I collect all kinds of things, so my robot collection is a relatively small component, being mainly the toys I had as a kid (or else really, really wanted as a kid!) I've got some Shoguns, T-Formers, Macross/ Robotech, etc... Die-cast, vinyl, pla-mo, film books; I admire the designs from the late 70's and early 80's.
This board is a tremendous resource, so thanks for letting me join. I look forward to getting to know you.

Hello All! Nolesoldier here. I've visited RJ for a couple of years. However, I've never posted and mainly visit in order to get the latest information on releases. This site was a critical lifeline of information during the MP VV fiasco! I also enjoy seeing other RJ members incredible collections. I predominantly collect / cherry pick SOC and fight the urge (usually unsuccessfully) to buy MP Transformers. The MP VV was the last large gokin I've received (luckily my version is relatively unblemished) and I've pre-ordered the Toynami 30th LV (since it looks like we all won't be seeing an SOC LV anytime soon...meh). I hope to follow up with some pics of my collection in the future. AIRBORNE!
