It does sound interesting! I think a cool one would be a Mazinga head on Goldorak body!

Does look cool!! Doesn't match the box though. IMO, they should have gone with Goldoraks chest too.

I'm in the process of cancelling my Rinkya account. Mostly because their staff are a bunch of shady a-holes.
Their site screwed up a bid and cost me an item. (never had issues before, or with ebay or any other site.) When i asked them to order it from another store with no fees they did it.. but they told me to wait for a new invoice. So I waited... then their "collections agent" had the balls to say I was late to pay and tried to charge me a late fee.
I sent them the email showing them that I was instructed to wait for an invoice and that I've never paid late for anything and the b*tch sent me this email about following their policies. I told them I wasn't paying a damn late fee on their mistake, especially after they told me to wait for an invoice.
I finally got fed up with their overpriced shipping and fees and found somebody else. Sad. They started out being really helpful, but they've turned into parasites.
I went in to change my credit card info and I couldnt find a way. I cancelled a pre-order - an item that isn't even out yet, mind you. and they told me I couldn't cancel items. Basically telling me I HAD to buy the item.
I told them that was ridiculous and it wasn't stated anywhere in their terms of service.
I said f**k it and told them to cancel my account.
Haven't heard anything. If they try to charge me for anything I'll raise hell I know.

Wow gakken!! You know, I did notice a steady decline in their customer service. They were great for the first 3 orders, even got a seller to lower a price. Now it takes up to 3 days to respond to an email!! Actually got a great deal on an item that ended up costing more in fee's then what I paid for the item... Yeah, wish I had some connections to bail out and still be able to buy from Japan... Guess I'm stuck for now, but I'm being way more careful. Glad to hear you found another place to go through, if they'd actively look for things for you, even better!! Let me know how you get you'r credit card off file when you figure it out, so I'll know...

Anyone use the Buyee service yet? I signed up for it, but have yet to have a winning bid. Was curious if Rinkya or celga may be the better way to go?

It used to be owned by three girls from California who were very cool and easy to deal with, but they sold the business... Now it's a bunch of douches trying to screw you. Bye bye Celga.

Occasionally I use tokyobuyers.blogspot.com, I've not won anything in recent time, so they have not been making money off me but still they're taking my bids.
Their system is not really automated, I just emailed them, provide the link or auction id and give my max bid and they handle the rest.
Also they don't demand upfront deposit unless the bid value is really high.
Never used celga or rinkya so I can't chime in or compare the level of services between these middlemen.

It's pretty funny. Rinkya wrote me back and said that "In Japan if you say you'll buy something you must buy it. it's our way of life."
I almost wanted to say... "yeah well, my money is American, and if I want to cancel a pre-order I should be able to."

I bailed on Rinkya after they sent me totally the wrong box...no idea whose stuff but it definately wasn't MINE...after talking with them I sent it back but never recieved my correct order (apparently whoever got my box never sent it back and they conveniently had no idea where it might have gone...then they tried to refuse to refund the purchases I made despite having lost them.
I haven't had any issues with Celga so far. I do wish the had a better browser though. I was using Rinkya to browse and Celga to bid, but now Rinkya seems to require a login...

I really wish there was an all around decent service! One that actively searchs would be nice as well. Imagine how many pieces are being sold in shops that we're missing out on because we're not in Japan.
