I got the box out of the Amazon packing box and, wow.
This is one of the heaviest box ever. Feels like there,re more diecast in this thing then I thought... It,s shockingly heavy...I guess Gold is solid on this being the heaviest SOC to date.
I need some alone time with this toy on Monday to fully appreciate. I,ll def leave my two cents then.

One of the coolest SOC I have handled to date. The rolling tank treads, the heft in diecast weight, the ridiculous amount of engineering to this gokin is a home run for Bandai. Now if they do this gift of engineering on the Tryder 7 release especially with the copious amount of heft and rolling tread I'd say we're looking a new golden age for Bandai in toy engineering. I'm amazed the level of articulation on this release even the oversized body. If you're on the fence on this guy, you should definitely give this guy a shot.

Hey guys I couldn't,t wait and I got the main bot out of the styro. Heavy as rock. I thought I was holding a freaking rock! Paint apps are perfect, and very beautiful with metallic flakes. Most of The joints on it is made of massive metal. Entire legs, I mean ENTIRE legs are metal. That means from it,s massive hip joints, thighs, knees, lower legs, ankle joints and finally feet are all solid metal.... There,re other bits that are metal like grey parts on it,s shoulders, solid chunk of metal. Practically, every single joints imaginable on legs are ratcheted...I counted around ten. That,s freaking insane. There was a tiny loose screw in the body rattling around. But it was easy to fish it out as all the panels on the body made it possible without having a major surgery on the guy. Another nit pick would, I wish more body panel was metal, but the prob made the figure unstable so it,s cool I guess. So far I,m very impressed. Oh and the box had noticeable dings but I don,t care as I,m going to sell this. Also, my two, yes two booklet have dog ears...I guess the person who put mine together was having a really bad day.

Too bad there are minor issues with yours, but glad you got one at a good price at least and enjoying it. Hopefully the random sales on this guy manage to get more of this bad boy into collectors' hands. A toy this well made deserves to be played with. Lejam, do use the display stand often. The ratchets on Franky's knees are strong, but the figure is still a pretty top heavy design. I use my stand for long term display, so the knees are good as new so far.

Yeah, the issues are just mostly non toy issues so I don't feel bad. Also the plastic tray has a crack too. The Hell was going on with the guy who was packing my Frankie? I'm REALLY enjoying it....bit by bit. Today, I'm gonna "use" the third tray in the box. I will attatch the arms and arm him with the sword. I love exploring this figure. Just ton of fun (it weighs a ton too ) and overall a great "handler's toy." A def hand candy. Thanks all the bros recommending this guy I, just like Josh at Collection DX would of passed him by.

I just put the massive arms on him and now it's unweildingly heavy. I'm glad Bandai added the stand. It's a requirement now. Even with all the ratchets, there's real danger of toppling over since he's so SO~ MASSIVE! He needs to be handled with two hands. Don't try to be a macho man and thinking you can handle him with one. No...just no. Even though arms are all plastic, they are very VERY heavy. Again, ratchets everywhere. More on nit picking. Upper arms are not painted, ala Hasbro Transformers...the only parts that's left bare on this figure. Tiny QC, I found a lint buried paint in one of the shoulders. Oh I finally found where the builder missed and drop the tiny screw. I screwed it back in. Lastly, you perfectionists want to be careful on is where his massive hip joints tucks into his crotch? But It WILL scratch paint on his crotch no matter what so.. It's unavoidable but it's not noticeable because it's under and inside on the bottom. BTW, the red crotch crossbeam is "NOT" die cast...Trust me, my test never EVER failed me . NEVER!

Am I the only one who doesn't like it at all? Please, do tell. I would love to hear the other side. Well, yes, it's heavy. Yes, it looks well engineered. Not completely, the legs (right, my case) it's loose, and last but not least...it's not my cup of tea. I am just not into the design, I don't see a reason why should it be in the Soul of Chogokin line...long story short, I sold it right away.

Wow, this robot is bigger than I thought. And it's really heavy. I am happy with the die-cast content. Overall, I like it. It sticks out in comparison to the other SOCs. I guess that's okay. One thing for sure, I would rather have a smaller version of this guy and have a bigger version of the SOC Danguard Ace (that robot is cook but it's tiny).

There's something weirdly appealing about this piece. Particularly for $135.

No prob! I knew a lot of members here wouldn't buy this til it went on sale. Well, here ya go. It's a really fun toy, guys. I was skeptical at the beginning and even decided I wasn't going to get it but I'm glad I changed my mind. =)

Grrr... I hate that sales make me want to buy things I otherwise wouldn't buy. Sometimes I want something but just have a feeling it will go on sale, or think it isn't quite worth the price even though I want it, so I wait for a sale.
Other times, like this, it's a figure I have absolutely zero thought about wanting, and the price point just drives that point home. But then it goes on sale and suddenly I am looking at it more closely, reading and watching reviews... and now I want the damn thing! Despite the sale though, I just don't think I should.
However, I am going to show this to the fiancé and see if her reaction is "you're an idiot" or "wow that is so stupid you must have it".
