Since it's P Bandai, it may only be available on the P Bandai US website like the Metal Composite Gundam Wings. That site can technically sell out, but that is pretty rare, and the sales period is about a month. Yeah I hope it's not like Metal Build Dragon Scale Sirbine which was like what you mentioned. Thankfully the reveal has been postponed to next Monday 2nd Oct and the pre-order opens the following day Tues the 3rd. With incoming funds I might be able to squeeze this purchase through. I know yen is very weak right now but it still costs almost JPY 40K. |

But yeah, definitely glad the PO doesn't open till next week, I think I'm gonna have to sell my SOC Gunbuster to get the funds for it, which is a bummer, but in the long run I think Gunbuster will be easier to get again on the after market. It's also a shame that Bandai isn't really adjusting prices on P-Bandai to reflect the dollar-to-yen value, so it'll probably be like $395 or something. |

Missed Providence (and I think getting it with aftermarket prices will hurt), but I will get Kampfer for sure. |

Seriously, OMG.
I have not looked forward to a gokin toy for a while...I mean, the Metal Structure Wasabi was pretty up there but it was near impossible to get and the pricepoint was stupid.

First Time buying Metal Build. I am in Canada. Which e-retailer can I buy this from? Because its a Web Exclusive, if you can buy from P-Bandai US (Bandai's own store), that would be the safest. The preorder window is usually open for days (sometimes weeks), instead of a few seconds and sold out at other few stores that do sell exclusives. Normal retail stores don't carry this exclusive Kampfer. p-bandai.com/us/item/N2668757001001Preorder opens at P-Bandai tonight after 2am Pacific time / 5am Eastern time, depending where you are at. I just don't know if they ship to Canada (hopefully they do). |

Even P-Bandai US is charging way more Japan MSRP 39,600 Yen = $265.01 USD P-Bandai USA is 53,793 Yen = $360.00 USD All those few retail shops that do carry Kampfer (or any P-Bandai Exclusive per se) have markups, because they are 'reselling' them, since normal shops are not suppose to carry them. So it is a norm for those few shops (Anime-Export, Luna Park, BigInJap...etc.) to add a few thousand yen on the price. However, Luna Park and Kumara Toys putting it at around 49000yen is a bit steep, an extra 10000yen mark up. Adding shipping cost, it pretty much on par with buying directly from Bandai. AE was the normal best case scenario, they have markup added, but is more reasonable (5000yen), which will end up decently cheaper than buying from P-Bandai in US. But of course, they sold out before most of us even knew about it.  You can either try to find one of those stores carry exclusives with least amount of markup (and catch them when their PO not sold out), or buy from P-Bandai US if you miss out on those (assume they ship to Canada). |
