Mandarake still has 3 or more at different locations, you see them all from OzmaLee's earlier link page, even though the one he highlighted is sold. All around 26000-28000yen price range. order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1042783221&ref=dosorder.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1058241872&ref=dosorder.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1057765877&ref=dosXephon0930, Mandarake is pretty much THE 'used toy' toyshop chain giant in Japan, with mulitiple mall/buildings in a number of busiest districts in Japan all selling toys. I shop at their website often and never had issues. However, not sure how smooth sailing their online English department is since they are somewhat new (around for a few years selling overseas directly). And seeing the mail room at one of their location in Tokyo in person before, its a pretty hectic place with hundreds of orders getting boxed and moved around every minute (for both Japanese locals and Oversea orders like us). So communication would more likely be the issue, rather than this place being shady. Most stuff sold on Mandarake is used, but occasionally have sealed new ones if they mentioned on the listing. From my experience, used items are still in minty condition, as I feel that Japanese collectors really take care of their stuff and package well. However, its not an absolute, so buying a used gokin might still have a small chance of getting a bad one. However, since its the Star Parts we are talking about, not too much can go wrong with it (no loose joints), aside actual broken pieces. When you place an order, you cannot group items into one order if the items are located in different location shops. You can only group items together if they are in the same location. Also, you don't pay right away when you place an order. They will accept your order, take a couple days to locate the item you request if it is still there first, then email you back to confirm. If the requested item is still there, then they will ask you for Paypal payment. Then you paid online, and they will ship it out within a couple days. That's how they work from what I remember. Good luck finding it. It makes GGG super awesome as a display, the biggest & heaviest SOC yet! P.S. The trick to find stuff on Mandarake site is to cut & paste the Japanese name of the item when do a search. Typing English names usually don't find jack That may explain it as I have been using the English part of the site. Yeah......I can see why I may have had issues.

But my favorite part is really the stand it comes with as it gives my Goldion Hammer wielding Gaogaigar a more dynamic pose and those boosters do help with making it look imposing. The new head with better range of motion also helps.

Hi guys,
Since I'm now a proud owner of a SOC Voltron and Voltes V - I'm now really hooked into gokins due to their quality, built, die cast, engineering etc...
I have no connections with GGG growing up aside from playing SRW series. Really cool looking bot and I have been looking at some reviews and been thinking if I should get one. I think I saw one in Japan and the shelf presence of this bot is incredible.
Your thoughts and feedback? Do I need the Goldymarg and star option set? He is currently affordable and within my budget (only the SOC GGG) or should I wait for SOC Genesic GGG, thanks guys!

In my opinion You (don't) have to get all the addons for GGG.. he's very big that you can just put him alone in a shelf etc.. and make a really nice display. I got mine 2 months ago from BBTS and I'm really happy with it.. next to Gunbuster. The engineering in this toy is incredible and more complex than Voltes V or Voltron. it's fun to play with & if you like heavy Chogokins then this one is for you. Try to buy one soon before it's too late I got mine for $219 before shipping. Also gave the anime a shot it's really cool Goodluck!!!

You can skip the Star Parts as you pay a lot for very little even at retail price. Its a very well designed SOC. Not without flaws, but it is one of the best recent SOC combiners. Quality is not something you need to worry about. Even if GGGG is coming in the future, they are different enough to worth owning both.

Not surprising as the Brave robots were meant to be the followup to Transformers. And GGG was more or less the best or most popular of those. Goldymarg is a nice addition and you can find one fairly cheap. It's the only SOC that still can be found below MSRP. The Star Option set is for if you want to turn your robot into a nice statue, while eating up all of your shelf space at once. (Honestly if you like the look that much get the SRC and its option set. It looks the same in a smaller scale, and takes up much less real estate. The meat of what you want SOC GGG for is in GGG itself.) Really the only thing I generally dislike about GGG is that the shoulders are just hollow shells. But that seems to be a thing in ALL the Brave robots, in any form from any maker.

Thanks fam! I got him pending in order! $190 USD + shipping - thats a good price right? They just have to check if they have it in stock. I might get goldymarg as well since his still not that expensive and also cool looking beside GGG. Have to pass on the option set - just too expensive. Will start watching the anime as my fond memories with him was playing super robot wars alpha 3 and I was like "wow - this mech looks too cool" and yes, I like my heavy transforming/combining chogokins and definitely a welcome addition Appreciate everyones feedback!!!!

Be patient with the anime TV series, as it is a bit 'monster of the week' format. But it slowly get real good towards the middle, and a great finale at the final episode. But that is all a prelude to the OVA GGG Final. THAT, is where the meat of the whole GGG franchise is at, with all the hot blood emotional action pumped to the max. One of the best super robot anime out there. Remember this music. It is when badassery happens in this show

Toy-wave is good. Used to buy from them very often. Just that recent years have been easier to get preorders from Japan or US stores that I have a much less need to go the HK route. Their shipping is a bit high, but they package stuff really well and I never had any mishap with Toy-wave. Good shop to do business with.

Toywave's website is often outdated though. I've ordered from them a few times only to find out a few days later that the stuff I ordered are out of stock. Haven't been back for a few years, but just checked there macross offering, they are listing stuff that were released in 2015 as future release. Go figure. Just don't get your hopes up if you find a good price. If stuff are in stock, I haven't had a problem with them in the past.

Since Im late to the party I suspect JP sites will be abit expensive. I think NY has him for 270 usd? But checked toy wave and was like 190, that cant be true? So snatched him while I still have a chance.. Looking forward to this! Where do i get a cheap goldymarg guys?
