Looking good, but could do with some more detail on that chest/torso area.
So how are we going to get hold of those replacement parts? Bundled up with another dinobot?

Chen originally posted this update at TFW2005: I'm nervous. Does this mean that Gigapower doesn't want to do metallic colors anymore? Chrome does look beautiful though.

They will still make the Metallic version I just don't know if it will come before or after the chrome one. Grasser looks great, the paint aps make it look half a step above Gutter which could be good or bad but he does look a lot beefier especially in the leg area and Gutter was already a big boy to begin with.

I think for Grassor it would be more appropriate to keep the dino legs tucked inside his legs. Those rear dino legs are chunky compared to Guttur's legs which only house the dino's front legs which is significantly smaller than the rear legs (well, Guttur's rear dino legs turn into his arms).

Gigapower confirms on their FB post that the metallic version will come out first. They are also working on the flame effects parts that are exclusive to the metallic version. Additionally, they confirm that the Dino legs can transform and tuck into the lower legs like the non color test shot to the left of the painted chrome copy. Also, notice the red color alternate head on the bottom left of the photo.

It sure has been quiet on the 3rd-party Dinobot front...Other than FansToys with Sludge recently, it's been kinda crickets from GigaPower? Or is that just moi...?

Yeah it's been pretty slow, FT Sludge came out and besides the OS KO MP Grimlock and upcoming FT Grimlock not much is going on, plus the fact that Gutter was released ovwer a year ago with nothing else releasde doesn't help.

These prices are more realistic. I mean the $200 price tag was just over the top. No surprise that most doesn't sell. Most retailers still have Guttur, which was way overpriced. Clearance prices of $150 help cleared some stock, it's still widely available and has a very low resale value. Good move on GP this time around to offer Grassor at $135. And all of the FT Dibots offerings, they don't sell well either. Their V2 Slag under the new company name has to stay competitively price, which is good. Seriously can see retailer ordering a lot less due to volumes of old stock just not selling. $200 pieces just don't move like they used to. Not when there is like 6-10 releases a year.

Looks like GP has issued a new statement that chrome version will be released first. Chrome in August and metallic the following month.
