A shame they didn't go with a different design from their sketches. There were some really awesome ones.

Ok I know what's bugging me on this design : roundish shapes on uper parts VS squarish on the lower. (and never like rusted robots)

I thought the "handles" were bad but the rear part of this Mazinger really doesn't look good. I'm guessing that thing on his butt is a winch of some sort.

That,s a winch butt alright. Or should I say pinch butt...either way, that,s just shameful.
That,s just baffling. I also like the air conditioner Intake on the back of his lower legs too...NOT! I guess three a couldn't,t hide them anymore on the full product photo spread. You bros do me "a solid" and tell Three A what,s what at the Facebook. He needs some "Justin Biever straight talk!" Lol

Lol I also find the vents on the legs an illogical area to place it. Vent's are usually placed near the engine and powersource which is always located in the torso. This thing is really just a design mess. I don't mind different as long as it's done right.

FULL PASS on this thing! I always though it looked weird from the front, but now it is confirmed with the pictures of the back. Like Baron would say, this looks like a junkyard painted in silver, red, black, and blue. This is not Mazinger. It's more Trashzinger. If that is the look they were looking for when they were making this thing, they succeeded 1000%.

Is it vinyl or what? Ayhow, way beyond my tastes,I agree risk taking is a good thing Twoducks,But for me nothing on Mazinger's body should be square, especially his feet.Mazinger is a round corners SR,one main reason why this is not right even at its foundation.

True. I think that instead of mixing a rounded style upper body and a square type lower half, they should've gone square all the way. I think I would appreciate an original take of a squarish type Mazinger from head to toe (sort of like the "Gundam-Mazinger" custom shown a while back) than what this figure turned out like. Just sayin'...

Those gold pistons on his waist is to keep his pants up, and to prevent him from gettin Wedgied. I'd hate to see what an Aphordai-A and Boss Borot would look like in this form. Aphrodai-A made with twin Tesla knobs on her chest. Boss Borot made with the body of a fat pressure-cooker. We're looking at the kitchen-garage of the 21st century with a steam-punk look. Makes a junkyard look like Toys-R-Us... ...the Cosby Kids would luv this. zozo-mag

I really wouldn't bother with posting feedback to 3zero's FB page, as I'm sure they've gotten a lot of flack from hardcore Maz fans by this time already. That company is gonna do their own rendition of Maz no matter what. Just like Fewture did with their versions of Mazinger; and just like other toy companies have done with their versions of the Mazinger character. I don't like this Mazinger rendition; but at the same time I'm also fascinated by the mechanical Steam-punk style. I would appreciate that style more on a unique toy character; however, I wouldn't mind seeing something like this once in a while. If any one of us were to build a custom Mazinger-Z figure that looked something like That and presented it in the Customs threads, we'd be all cool about it because it's a Custom-made rendition. But this is a toy manufacturer making a realistic toy collectable item that resembles Mazinger in a totally different perspective; and here we are jabbin at it like it was something foreign. lol That's okay, it's all in no holds barred good clean fun. As long as Go Nagai has their back, they will make their own rendition of Maz. All we can do is either Like it and buy it, or Dislike it and pass. zozo-mag
