A 12-inch figure? Having a 30 cm Captain Earth would be great.
I'm trying to analyze the few images at taghobby by eye. Comparing the length of the objects on the table to that of the figure base.
So. Imagine a big mobile phone, bigger than average. The square pedestal is just as long, more or less, so the base is decently big. Captain Earth's height is, approximately, twice the length of that base.
That's good news! It probably won't be 30 cm, but I'd say well over 20 cm for sure (counting the shoulders). Quite big in the end. I'm satisfied.
I hope perspective hasn't tricked me...

Looks like the Earth Impactor is a bit larger than a Real Grade Gundam.

Cool! But I just realized that the Captain Earth is going to be a model kit, not really a figure. I think the name of the thread should reflect that, as to not cause confusion (and slight disappointment). }D

Looks like another company is doing an actual figure. Cannot remember. I wanna say Megahouse You might be right! I haven't found anything on the Megahouse website. But I did find this: metalrobot.forumfree.it/?t=69561269It's from an Italian forum, posted just yesterday Variable Action, so it is from Megahouse indeed. I wonder what the differences will be with the other announced Captain Earth figure. The image was taken from the Amiami blog, if you were wondering.

Yikes! Knowing Mega House's pricing practices as of late, I am afraid to see the price for this toy.

Yikes! Knowing Mega House's pricing practices as of late, I am afraid to see the price for this toy. I hear you if this ends up like Orguss, I'll just wait for a discount and keep it in my wishlist for the time being...

I'm semi-interested in this figure these days. After the Orguss crazy pricing, my enthusiasm diminished greatly for anything MegaHouse puts out...

Ufff! Looks great! However, the model looks better IMO, and comes with the core mecha too. }|

If you click on the link it shows that it comes with the little robot too. That unpainted Captain Earth is a model. It says so in the bottom of the page. I think it's the Kotobukiya model, not the MegaHouse prototype. }D

Yeah the link I posted is for the model. Edit - just found this it looks like the Megahouse one, It's only 15cm tall though. Megahouse version. You can tell by the way it attaches to the stand. www.taghobby.com/tag/megahouse/

15 cm is quite tiny for my tastes... Let's wait and see if the kit is any bigger (I hope it is). Bigger and less expensive.
