While the size is nice, those arms are really droopy in robot mode. Might be a floppy mess, judging by the pics.

So, my Transistor arrived from chimungmung last night. It was perfect without any paint chipping / blemish whatsoever. Then I had to be stupid and make one...
Can't stop kicking myself afterwards...

I know! But this scratch resulted from my own stupidity. I tried to align the head and the neck by wedging a scissor blade to hold the neck straight and turning the head into the proper position, and the scissor slipped  . I also made some tiny paint chips trying to get the heel spur out of the right foot. I got a perfect figure otherwise, and I'm loving it. The figure is so poseable, and has a high quality feel about it. I think I'm going to get a red gundam marker to touch up on that spot. |

Yep be carefull, the whole shell is painted. Also : be very carefull when turning the hand in fist position into the forearm when transforming to altmode. You have to align perfectly all fingers and thumb to make it compact because when you want to transform back to robot mode, if any fingers is moving or pointing inside the forearm space, thrust me, it's a nightmare to realign all fingers from this position to rotate the hand out. Mine have a minor qc : one of the left arm pannel supposed to snap to the rotative pannel is a pannel from the right forearm (not mirrored). Probably a mistake from factory. I will ask for a spare part... Will let you know about the customer service...  |

To tell the truth, I haven't even transformed mine so I cannot tell if I got a dud or not...
I guess the best thing to do is contact your retailer and try to get a replacement?

I (thought I) was happy with a lineup of just car-sized MPs (it also prevented me from buying any of the big Takara MPs that I don't have room for), but metallic candy red is like my kryptonite. I see it and my wallet just starts moving on its own... |

Hmmm. I read that but I read "blaster" as meaning "a gun accessory for MP Tracks", or at the very most a small blaster figure akin to the small Reflector that was included with the recent MP Megatron release. It's hard to imagine an official Takara looking more accurate than this KFC Blaster, though. It's just so spot on in both modes (with the exception maybe of a slightly messy back and underside in Boombox mode, but that is no worse than MP Soundwave). |
