the guy who is going to build me the cabinet said he was going to do some thing like that now i got a better idea about it

i was thinking about sealing the cabinet doors with a plastic piece so dust wont go inside but im not sure that will work

try rubber....like in car doors and refrigerator doors, to make it air tight!

Best way to display your collection?

Well, lying around of course - preferrably without any sense of organization and with a thick layer of dust on everything!

I wish I had a glass cabinet.

I have my detolfs sealed internally with some back adhesive weather strips. they come pretty cheap at Amazon. 2 packs did all four of mine and I had a bit left over. I will update later with a picture of the package that I bought.

Maybe a foam tape will do the trick and close the gaps? just look for the right size.
I think I'll get a STUVA frame with some glass door and shelfs from Ikea instead of the detolf.

Hello to everyone, I'm a new member here and I wish to build a nice window cabinet at basement. My collection most likely is Soul of Chogokin. Is that possible I can find it at Ikea build one with Ikea cabinet? Any sugguestion? =)

i guess it depends where you are. in my country, i doubt ikea provides customized window display cabinets as most folk will opt for designers instead. ikea is good for detolfs which are quick and easy solution. however, i think the ikea from my country stopped selling detolfs.
