So when I mentioned this to my wife this weekend, she reminded me that the 30th is my anniversary!!!! (I guess I should have known.) Uh oh. This might put a damper on things for me. Ugh! I think I can still go, but I might have to cut the festivities short.

HA! So true. Its ok. She always says she is not romantic or into all that mushy stuff. But on the other hand, when I tried to leave her behind and say I was going alone because I had to travel on Friday, she said there is no way I can abandon her on our anniversary. I guess I just can't win.  |

Oh, I ain't bringing her to the summit! I'm only bringing her on the trip. She will stay with her mother while I head out for our gathering. She only has so much pull on me! (Not that she would want to come anyway.)

I am excited. My trip is all booked. Just need a ticket for the Bolts / Hawks game while I am in Florida.
Oh and I may try and make it to see Star Wars in Tampa. There is a 2D IMAX theater there. I heard that's the best way to see it.

There may be a new store opening with Japanese related goods in St. Pete. So I may host at my home or possibly at this new location. Good stuff. Any news on this yet? |

I checked with friend on his new business. He can have us come by, but the event will be hosted at my house. Good for us, bad for my wife, lol.

I've been going over all my stuff for sales/trades. I've got a ton of varied things to offer. Bringing a lot of vinyls too to draw people to the dark side.
Not sure what (or if) I would bring for show-and-tell. Most of my new cool stuff is fragile and would not travel well. Anyone have anything in particular they want to see or are interested in?
Oh, and my wife has been giving me a ton of sh_t for doing this on our anniversary. I did not think she would mind, but she seems to be pretty pissed. She is mentioning it to everyone we see. You guys better appreciate my presence considering what I am going through to be there! (Not that my presence is important or anything - I just mean that I am going majorly into the doghouse for this, so hopefully others who were on the fence will be convinced to attend. If I sacrifice, others hopefully will too).

I had a few requests for airport details. You can fly into TPA or Tampa Florida international or St. PEte.
Orlando is about 80 minutes away but you would need a car rental.
St. Pete or Tampa airports are about 15 minutes by taxi away; possibly you can message another member coming in this thread to network.
