Cant decide if I want the official one. I have the original one, but think there is enough of a difference to get the new one.....but man, another $300!

I have the original one, but think there is enough of a difference to get the new one.....but man, another $300! for me personally it dont worth it the only different is Longer teeth for the black lion Red Eye for the black lion Chest and logo for the black lion Wing shape also for the black lion Connection part on leg (Connect with blue & yellow) and the colors thats it if they resculpt voltron face like the one in the promo photos and change silver paint to white i will buy it in a heart beat but like this nah im good |

That's the Toynami/Oritoy Voltron at $400 it's almost double the Madtoy version with no metal but it is 16" tall though. There's a thread in the Revoltech section about it.

If I'm dropping that much dough on a figure it needs to have some diecast zinc in it... nothing against plastic but $400 for this guy is too much. I willing to bet it'll drop in prices due to poor sales given the out of whack price range.

I might almost consider paying that for plastic, if it was coming from a company renowned for its engineering and material quality. Bandai or Takara maybe? But Plastic from Toynami? Oh hells no. Every piece of plastic I have ever touched from Toynami has been low quality sh*t that warps stresses and breaks. Does everyone remember any of their Macross horrors? The MT die cast is by far the better value and better quality.
