My investment in a PS4 is definitely paying off. That lineup is kinda lackluster, though. The inclusion of Crossbone is nice for Gundam, but they need to just animate that already instead of teasing us with a million mangas and cameos and kits.

Haven't played a SRW game for a few years now. While I can read enough Japanese and very used to play SRW in Japanese, I am very excited about this release. Most likely I'll get it in English too so some of my friends can borrow it and try this great gaming franchise for the first time. I myself will be test driving the English SRW OG Moon Dwellers next month when released, see if the English will throw me off a bit  The roster is pretty small and lack super robots, unlike SRW Z series, which keep adding and adding to a very bloated roster. But Hathaway's Flash, Unicorn Gundam, Mazinger Zero & Yamato 2199 kind of made up for it. Hope they have a very cool original main character, storyline, and a super mecha this time to offset the somewhat lackluster roster. That will keep me happy playing. |

I love that the Asian releases have English subtitles now, but I'm scared to think how much longer it'll take me to finish a SRW game if I actually read the text!

I still need to finish Moon Dwellers. :T Same here. But don't think I'll make it before SRW V's release. Heard the English version is coming out the same time as Japanese. Nice that don't need to wait a couple extra months. |

My copy just shipped from CD-Japan Play-Asia. Shipped it via slow boat, so I probably won't see it for a month. Not that it matters, I still haven't finished Moon Dwellers...

Mazin Emperor G has basically same attacks as Great Mazinkaiser.
Rust Typhoon - Great Tornado
Turbo Smasher Punch - Great Smasher Punch
Great Blaster - Great Blaster
Thunderbolt Breaker - God Thunder
Emperor Sword - Kaiser Sword
The only ones without counterparts are Mazin Emperor G's Emperor Blade and Great Mazinkaiser's Gigant Missile.

I suppose. Just a little disappointed since most of us here are veteran robot collectors. And this game literally is like our collection came alive together and go fight bad guys, with us being the main character and have our own mech to boot! Have been playing SRW games on and off since the 90s. While I can read some Japanese, its language barrier is really keeping a lot of folks from touching this franchise. But this SRW V supposed to open up that door that was closed for the passed 25 years. But now that its open, we mostly hear crickets...at least in here.
Hope more folks would jump in and enjoy this great franchise. It is what got me started my toy collecting in the first place. Everything started with SRW4 for me, and the rest is history.
