Don't care about the size on this. Will be good to save on shelf space. Quality does matter, but I believe size and quality are not mutually exclusive in my opinion. Looking good so far!  |

It being a regular release is awesome, as it'll be discounted ~20-25% off of MSRP at retailers. The Deep Striker will definitely be an (extremely) expensive exclusive though - my guess is around 25000-30000 yen at least. I also hope that they release an S Gundam, though that would likely be an exclusive too.

I'm just going to wait for the inevitable Bluefin release here in the States. Given how ridiculously weak the yen-to-dollar ratio is at the moment, I would rather not take the risk.

I too pre-ordered one at CDJapan. But I just noticed nippon yasan actually has the lowest price this time, but of course its sold out.

...and with CD Japan, while their posted prices are high, their reward system is probably the best of the mainstream vendors (i.e. AmiAmi, Hobby Search)...the points come quick and when applied, can be some DEEP discounts.

Ha! Actually, Image-anime is my New York local store. But I know they don't just get their inventory from Bluefin. They get their inventory from other places. I still don't get why Bluefin does not have this. It is a wide-release. They had the Hi-Nu Gundam Metal Robot Spirit! |

Maybe it has something to do with it being a Katoki Hajime release, and maybe he just loves being a total douche to non-Japanese? |

Yes. Although there was one case when they advertised that they still have pre-order space for 40th Anniversary SOC Voltes, when they actually don't. I had to send them email to clarify.
