I just ordered it from AE. I had a preorder on BBTS which I cancelled.
BBTS was $185 and I figured shipping would be $15-$20. AE was $200 total.
Now the waiting game!

Haha. Just a heads up that for whatever reason, Mandarake has a bunch of the original Ex-S at slightly below retail price. There are even a couple of brand new unopened ones at 16000yen, instead of the low to mid US$200 range elsewhere, in case anyone still want one but missed the boat a couple years back. I am guessing the more recent re-colored version drove these price down.

Does anyone have the Metal Robot Spirits Ka Signature Ex-S Gundam and the more recent P-Bandai METAL ROBOT SPIRITS (Ka signature) 〈SIDE MS〉 Ex-S GUNDAM TASK FORCE α. I'm curious what improvements are in the Task Force Alpha version?

I'm curious what improvements are in the Task Force Alpha version? I could be wrong, since I don't have both to compare. But from what I remember, the Task Force Alpha is just a repaint, color closer to the original design and without the urban camo patterns. Though personally, I like the first release better and bought that instead when I backtrack this at Mandarake. But still unopen in storage so can't tell you more. |
