Finally outward motion on the lion legs! Ankle tilts in combined form look good.
I need to see some hi-res photos of him straight on because these angles are making him look squished.

I have a hard time believing that anyone who is willing to throw down 500 dollars on a Voltron doesn't know about the SOC by now. Speaking of which, that SOC looks super slick to my not-voltron fan eyes. |

Probably curious first timers who never bought a single chogokin or any robot toy in thier late adult life... but a huge voltron fan from childhood. Seen a few.. mostly Voltes V fans that are not really collectors. that 500usd.. no problemo.. like i said.. the guy's not really collector so probably he still have lots of savings to burn lol |

To be honest not what I was expecting, but it looks like it will be the best "godaikin" Golion ever, just wished they went to the next level. Still if I can I will buy this since my Toynami one is a floppy mess.
edit - A December release??? That's pretty quick!

Yeah I have a feeling it won't be huge, probably in the Voltes/Daimos/Combattler size then Iron Gear or Daiohja class.
Personally nowadays I'm less worried about size (since I'm running out of space) and more concerned about quality and durability. Hopefully this figure when combined is one of those figures you can just pick up and have fun with without worrying about stuff falling off or disassembling. My old Matchbox Voltron is one of THE most played with toys I have ever have, if this comes close and I get that same feeling again then I won't mind that it's not 100% anime accurate.
