Just a curious note. Amazon is not offering the re-issue of the GX-72 megazord for preorder. They also don’t have a preorder for the GX-40R God Mars up. The last Soul of Chogokin that went up for preorder was the GX-85 Titanus. Perhaps Amazon isn’t getting preorders of the SOC line anymore? They had Gx-87 for pre-order, it sold out, so I don't understand what's going on with amazon, and not having Gx-72 and Gx-71 up for pre-order. |

Toy source just listed megazord and getter emperor. They are probably still waiting for the go ahead from bandai.

I have to say how impressed I am with eknight media. Ì never heard of them before I ordered the soc voltron upon release and I received mine quicker than a lot of guys that preordered, the price was low and shipping was free and even though I had a bit of damage to the corner of the box the contents were fine and box was still able to be displayed and I was given a partial refund nothing huge but enough to cover the deposit on the second run and when I contacted them about using this toward the deposit Ì was worried they would say no but I was very happy to receive the email that it would go toward the deposit and my experience with them has been the best I have ever had with any company I've dealt With. Ì fully recommend them and I am not working with them i dony know them I am honestly super impressed with how they handle their customers and any issues and I have not one bad thing to say about them, awesome company I hope they stick around a long time we need companies like them in this business. Straight shooters that aren't out to make a killing off of the customers freaking love um go eknight

Speaking of eknight, I reached out and was told they pretty much received all 50 deposits. If you weren't in that first 50 (like me), you're probably not getting one from them.

First time poster but just wanted to say that I have a PO from eKnight that I may not be keeping as I also have one from AmiAmi. If AmiAmi comes through with the Japanese release I'll just skip out on completing my eKnight order. |

Voltron) .... My first SOC voltron was bought thru Amiami... well packed and lightning fast shipping I had it in 2 days I believe. Maybe you should keep your other preorder as you can tell this SOC is pretty hard to secure....just saying! |

Received this from Hobby Bee. What's going on with this re-issue? Never seen this limited amount of quantities before.
We just learned today from our supplier that the quantity of GX-71 Voltron we are going to receive would be way less the amount we ordered, and at the moment it's unlikely we could fulfill your order. As the result, we would issue you a full refund and cancel the order.

So a little theroy I have. I noticed that they are calling gx-88 Voltron 1, but the gx-71 is called Voltron. What I think will happen is just like the power ranger/zyuranger mechas, they're gonna do all the Voltrons in the SOC line. Voltron 1 being gx-88, then maybe a couple years from now(hopefully not too long), gx-?? Albegas/Voltron 2, and will pull a ala gx-53/gx-65 daitarn move and re-release the gx-71 as a new number but it will be the original matchbox/popy toy colors Voltron 3 instead of the anime accurate gx-71. That would be pretty cool but who knows. Bandai I'm sure knows they can milk the GX-71 even if they make it a new number as a re release, just like the mazingers.

I like the idea of a repaint that more closely matches the popy goilion toy. I think even if you miss this Re-Release you will still have a chance at the many inevitable reprints. I would probably enjoy the original popy repaint more than the original GX-71 release anyway as it was my favorite toy of my childhood.

Sold out in minutes. The 30th anniversary toynami display base looks incredible with the SOC, especially when the base does the lion roar and you have the roaring face on.
