Wonder if the preorder price will be more than the actual price? Sometimes it is higher or can be lower when it goes on actual sale.

dont worry about it, if they reissued the 40th anniversary Volts and it was a limited release, im sure they will do multiple reissues of this regular release

Love the show and the mecha design and the toy would be extra solid with some better ratchets for its weight or at the least some less overuse in diecast.

Gundam Planet has a $299 preorder going for the SOC Voltron. But still may wait until it actually goes on sale. Maybe....

I'm gonna wait a bit, if soc voltron sells a lot then it's normal for Bandai to make more. Not gonna pay for more than what the retail price is. But I do think this soc if there are no problems will be just as big as voltes v considering many people know who voltron is.

Anime-Island still have preorders up for $250 shipped after the coupon code and free shipping. Why are folks still looking for reopen preorders or existing preorders that cost a lot more?

I dont trust when things make too much sense..
But seriously, some bros might not feel comfortable ordering from certain stores for one reason or another.... I did ordered one from Anime Island tho.
ebay scalpers are crazy. Dirty Hyenas will take advantage and devour your wallet, no remorse.

I personally don't trust Anime Island. My first and only experience with them was bad.

Anime-Island still have preorders up for $250 shipped after the coupon code and free shipping. Why are folks still looking for reopen preorders or existing preorders that cost a lot more? Speaking for myself, firstly I live in Canada and currently the Exchange rate is brutal for us. That 250 US works out to be about 340 CAN plus any taxes I would have to pay at the border. That doesn't include shipping to Canada which I am sure Anime Island wouldn't do for free. So in the end, it is better for me to try to get one from Japan. Add in the fact that I can combine shipping with other items I have at HLJ, the reasonable shipping costs and reliable customer service (In my experience) and it just makes sense to try and order from them as opposed to any US based retailers.

I'm in Canada and I order from Anime-Island.
Shipping price is decent, compared to Japan.
Also they will lower the value on the packing, so if you read this right, you will avoid tax and customs.
Exchange rate is bad, but bad also vs the Yen.
I ordered the DX Great Mazinger from them, didn't pay a dime more!

However, lowering the value of the item is breaking the law and if CBSA caught it, it could cause problems. I believe it is highly unlikely that CBSA would catch it, but I prefer to be on the safe side. Most of the time I don't get dinged by customs anyway. Maybe 10% of all my shipments from Japan. Either way it is great that we are all able to enjoy this hobby and get these things regardless of where we bought them from.

Can the 10% OFF coupon be applied at Anime Island? I am trying to add it and it keeps saying it can't be applied to anything in my cart.

Can the 10% OFF coupon be applied at Anime Island? I am trying to add it and it keeps saying it can't be applied to anything in my cart. The coupons still works , but you can not use it on the SOC voltron anymore . They even put a disclaimer in red on the bottom . "This Item does not qualify for any further coupons or promotions except for free shipping within the USA!"
