I put them on. In my opinion it looked like it was missing something without them on. I think it looks good.

So quick update guy tells me today that no new units in the mail today so he will send a full refund when he gets home tonight so i guess he has a job outside of whay sounds like a pretty serious,home,based business, needless to say its almost midnighy in california and absolutely not one penny has been refunded and he has not a single item up for sale now on ebay, did anyone else try their luck? Oh he did say he will contact me as soon as more come in , the best part is somehow my credit card was repeatedly charged for the voltron 4 times with 4 different transactiin numbers and thankfully fraud protection caught it but seriously im trying to figure out what his hustle is and how it works is it a low dollar cut and run that pops up every six months or well anyway due to my sisters positiom at the doj everything i do is highly monitored so is everything he is doing now ill get my money back but he wont get his privacy back at least not for a long time, and im actually not kidding, sometimes it bugs me that my privacy has to be compromised but right now i love it Hey crpdiablos,
I saw your post and have some insight as I myself received the same excuse from this ebay seller that his car was broken into and if I wanted to wait a week to see if more returned Voltron SOC's but were not and received my money back. I double checked my paypal and just received the refund. The reason I believe this guy received returned GX-71's is because I received a Green and Yellow SOC Lions from this seller before he placed this listing in July. If you look at the listing for the "returned" voltron you can see an over spray or paint fade on the blue lion toward the tail which was obvious. It was definitely worth the gamble but yeah, I was ticked off as well and I guess lucky as I knew it was a BS excuse but having the Yellow and Green lions to play with eased the pain.
He had a Voltron GX71 SOC Black, Green, Yellow, Blue lion, the box, weapons all on separate bids back in May 2017. I managed to get one yellow Lion with one missing spring on the front shoulder and a green lion with a missing plastic tail otherwise all mint! The seller is no longer on ebay as he had some pretty bad reviews. Its rare to find any loose Voltron SOC lions but I guess they are out there. I tried contacting Bluefin for a replacement spring and plastic tail but no returned email of phone call.
I missed the first round of the Voltron GX-71 and thought $299.00 was expensive and the prices would drop but yup, they nearly doubled. After having these two lions in hand, I can honestly say the Voltron SOC is far better than any other version of voltron I have or seen.

Did you see the link directly above? Anime-Island just got some GX-71s in stock, and they're listed for $299. The BBTS had a new shipment a few weeks ago, but they sold out right away. It seems like they are sporadically available. If you haven't got the full set, check it out. |

The playmates lions look like sh*t. Just gonna be an upscaled heavy dumb down version of the amazing Soc golion. Maybe one day Bandai will re-release, but don't know how possible that is if playmates jacked 60% of the soc design.

Umm, who cares? I'll definitely be hunting for the Playmates Classic Voltron. I know I'll see it in stores, and maybe on sale, and it's BIG, and I won't have to baby it, and...
AND I still need the SoC or the Icarus for my "nice" display.
More is better.

Yeah.
I am a bit worried of the Playmates Classic Voltron as we have yet to see the combined mode.
Unless if Bandai reissues the SoC,I will much rather pay the exorbitant prices for the SoC to be honest. It is in my to-do list.
