Missed the boat on getting the SoC early. Managed to find a local seller who offered me a sealed set for 450 USD. Wondering if I should bite the bullet This thing is as awesome as everybody says. You won't regret it. Pull the trigger!!

Im very interested/excited to see how the fantasy jewel bootleg will turn out. May be a much better option since soc is so much. Wonder what they will make different besides the longer tails on the red and green lions. Any idea when they will all be released or is it a individual lion release?

Bandai should just re-issue GX-71 *sigh*
Dairugger IV release would be even better.

Not sure about GX-71 reissue. A friend of mine recently attend TN 2017 in Japan. At exhibition expo, he saw Pacific Rim SOC prototype ready for announce in following year. And believe me, it's not Gypsy Avenger... When Asked about SOC GX-71 reissue, he said no such announcement like that. I see Only Pacific Rim SOC at the expo.

Whew I learned my lesson on GX-71. Do not snooze on these figures. I’m beyond grateful that I got one when it came out. That’s why I’m not letting Combattler pass me by. Not only is it amazing but I think it will be worth a lot in the future.

I should have waited on the Megazord. If only I knew I could get it from Amazon for like $240.
That $300 coupd have gone to Voltron.

AFAIK, Bandai rarely launch reissue because of rarity of their product in the market.
SOC GX-60 God Sigma, for example. This robot is very popular, and a lot of fans (including me) wants reissue. When fans asked Bandai about this, as usual Bandai answer with normative statements to ease fans. What happen after that? Did we see reissue as requested? No.
If many fans arguing that reissue is inevitable, I have to agree with that. The problem is, when we get it? 2 years, 5 years? LOL

I need Mars & Sigma, but not gonna pay a penny to the aftermarket.

Agreed, most I would pay is retail. Bandai is full of surprises, who knew they would reissue GX-32R Gold Litan. Should have waited 2 yrs ago, darn. Never give up

That's just part of collecting in anything. The hunt the rush. If everything was easy to get it wouldn't be so collectible then it loses it appeal and resale value. I started Chogokin collecting just over year ago. So think about it, I had to make up 20 years of modern chogokin collecting this past year and was able to get everything I wanted. I couldn't do nothing about yesterday's prices I wasn't collecting.
You just need to be persistent, network with others and if you see an opportunity don't sit on it. Just buy it. I snagged DX Mazinger at very reasonable after market price not $1,000 or whatever. Collecting these Chogokins are actually easier then when I was colllecting other lines back in the 90s. There's so many online ways to get something all over the world. I just love I don't have to go to toy stores hunting something down and coming up short.
I realized Chogokin collecting isn't small time plastic figures like Marvel Legends or Gi Joe's that I use to collect. These are high end items that if you really want it, the reality it's going to cost good money. The pondering agony of looking at last years prices now when you weren't interested in that item or let alone didn't know it existed cant be changed. I deal with it all the time. If the item gets good reviews and you really want it just get it.

Diecast ratchets and a bigger clip for Ideo Delta.

Bandai does reissue some of their gokins
but its up to the locals (Japanese customers) to decide what they want first so Bandai reissue it
the last survey they did, most of the locals voted for the awful GX13R and the GX-39R

I still feel this was a huge missed oppurtunity to rerelease the SoC Ideon and Combattler V. i still feel you dont know about the DX Combattler v bro ask any one and im sure they will take a DX over an SOC, the DX will crush the SOC easily from every aspect for Ideon im honestly not sure if the demand is high enough

I don't have $500 just lying around, and even if I did, I still wouldn't be putting it into a Combattler toy first!

Except the pricetag. I don't have $500 just lying around, and even if I did, I still wouldn't be putting it into a Combattler toy first! in these times no one does lol, but they gave us a good amount of time to save up for it, also will you rather have a $500 8 years old figure or a $500 fresh figure ? i know the price is a high but its a hugh combiner with sounds and lights gimmick and loaded with diecast not to mention the demand on the robot, so its understandable lastly its all depends on you as an individual do you like Combattler v ? if yes you will go for it no matter what
