$300 ! what are they smoking they are getting in Fewture price range which is nonsense, Bandai bargaining chip is affordable figures, with Golion i understand it wasn't cheap to get a license but with this i really dont get it i will wait for Japanese retailers to open their PO on it hopefully they will give a good discount $300 is actually a bargain, SOC's have never been on the low end of toys. We're talking about a line that released a 21,000YEN Dancouga back in 2003 where there was nothing out there that was near that cost except for some Vintage and Daigokin figures or a 29,400YEN GX-46 in 2009, that's almost seven years ago. If anything Fewture is the one that's overpriced compared to this SOC, the engineering and design is nowhere near as good not to mention quality and all your really paying for is just look/design of the figure which honestly is just a fashion statement and at anytime can go out of fashion. If anything I was expecting it to be more lol.

I had to get mine from AmiAmi. May not be as cheap as HobbyLink Japan but it sure beats paying for tax with BigBadToyStore.

tamashii.jp/special/daizyujin/en/index.htmlA detailed page, which includes where all the diecast/articulation is located on each Zord, as well as some engineering documentation. A fun read, and it confirms that there is a waist joint. Am I alone in thinking that Daizyujin is likely in the running for best, most complex designed SOC we have yet seen? Granted we won't know for certain until we get it in hand. But damn, everything we have thus far seen looks extremely impressive. This guy looks like he will be a Masterpiece.

It's clear that this was a passion project, even going as far as getting two of the lead designers of the original '92 Megazord to work on this. Bandai knows how nostalgic Megazord is to both Super Sentai and Power Rangers fans, so I have no doubts that this toy will, if not be THE best, will stand amongst the best.

Has it been mentioned if the brand packaging for the western and japanese markets be different? i.e. MMPR for western markets and Zyuranger for Japanese? Maybe they'll go the same route as Voltron and offer an MMPR sleeve. If that's the case, I'm kinda leaning towards the MMPR version since that's what I grew up with.

An already I like to go to the SoC Gaogaigar and Ideon as some of my personal favorite Combiners of the SoC line. Would rank Dancouga higher on the list if the engineering didn't age so badly. Not a bad figure but the engineering could use an update and that Sentinel version is not cheap. But yeah, I am very excited to see the Soul of Chogokin Voltron and Megazord in action with reviews popping up for each.
