Has anyone heard any recent information on the Icarus Voltron? All the vendors that I see are still taking orders, but none of them seem to have any definite information about when these will be back in stock. It seems like everyone is just hoping for the best right now. I even tried contacting Icarus on Facebook, and all they could tell me is that they were "already released in market." According to Toyz-King(ebay) aka LCM Toy, he keeps telling he should get his stock at the end of March...so...I dunno. I placed my order with him in the beginning of Feb. |

Looking at all you guys post about getting this has driven me to purchase. Any good recommendations? I see direct, LCM and some eBay vendors? Any place other places? I got mine from Toyer city after LCM scammed me. Didn't have any issues with them and it was my first purchase from them. |

Hope he doesn't scam you like he did me Lau from lcm toys seems to be a decent guy. I bought the dark version voltron from him without any problem. I also have the anime color one pre-ordered at his place. When eBay had the 20% off code last time, I bought from his ebay store again, and asked him if he could cancel my previous order and kept the ebay one since it's much cheaper for me with the 20$% code. He said no problem and refunded me my first payment right away. |

Toyercity is gone. www.toyercityhk.com/LCM is taking preorders based on Icarus Toys producing more figures. When that will happen is anyone’s guess. |

Know your PayPal or Credit Vendor policies and do not let anything pass the boundaries of your guaranteed protections. I'm glad people at least some or most got what they paid for with the Dark Voltron. Which was clearly a short run project designed to run up capital to finish the normal regular color larger production run. The whole thing is clearly being run in a questionable and chaotic manner laced with healthy amounts of lies, bullsh*t, bigger lies and broken promises. You may yet get a nice robot. But from experience, never believe what Icarus is ever telling anyone about when. If they have made it this far then Icarus will probably deliver some actual product. The operative word being "some" and not all. They are clearly trying to move resources around. I suspect we will see a partial or smaller regular color run then was advertised. My gut says there are probably about 500 Black Voltrons out there in the wild. Or somewhere between 250 - 500. I figure the number of eventually shipped full color v2's will probably be 500-1000. If they get everything lined up and don't fall short of production money. If they do fall short? 250-500 same as Blackie.

I haven't heard anything negative about him until now. I guess I'll just have to hope for the best, and more importantly, not let my PayPal window expire. I agree with faelon, this whole thing is being handled in a very questionable manner. |

I contacted Icarus Toys on their Facebook page through Facebook chat. Same place I contacted them to get a replacement lion for the Dark Voltron. I asked when we would get a restock of the colored Voltron. They replied that it is sold out. So I would not preorder now. Check toysrepublic.com occasionally to see if it does get restocked. It looks like they do not have plans at this time to produce more. They have been showing vinyl voltes V on Facebook and a line of upcoming swords. From what I understand Icarus only uses one factory and they have been showing pics of Voltes V in production at the factory.

Ive ordered several times from LCM with no problems. Lau has near immediate response time and offered to refund me numerous times if I was not satisfied.

Yeah I emailed Lau and he also said that he would give me a refund if I want. He said that they are expected to finish production of more anime versions by the beginning of April. We'll see. I think smaller companies like them aren't good at giving an estimated date. They probably got many more orders than expected and then there was also the CNY holiday. I hope that they do ship mine soon though. I ordered it at the end of January. |

No one a saw this coming!! This has been the one and only time I didn't buy a voltron that I thought I wanted but past dealings with this manufacturer kept me from ever giving them a dime.

I had pre-ordered both Voltrons from LCMtoys, both times no issues. Both time super quick upgraded shipping with EMS and no customs fees or taxes to Canada! Glad I got these as it seems they are rare items! Who wants to buy mine??? LOL! jokes!

Makes about as much sense as everything else Icarus has said over the past 2 years. Does anyone around here actually have one of V2 the fully colored KoB's? Have they been seen in the wild in any measurable form? I'm honestly curious. There seem to be virtually no videos of the actual color version out there on Youtube. Just a handful of what look like Beta or Reviewer samples. The robot collecting community isn't that large. We've seen a lot of chatter regarding the Black KoB. But almost nothing about the full color one. I'd love to know how many actually made it out into the wild? |

Here is the latest response that I got from Icarus on Facebook after asking them if there would be another run or if these were finished: "Will have a few in end of may or around for pre-ordered customer." A few around the end of May; another awesome explanation from this company. I didn't even bother asking them what they meant by a few.
