I do prefer the fat Getters myself, but that slimmer Toei Getter 1 looks really good. Though its head looks a little too, eh, "elongated". Too narrow. Almost like it's about to "open get!"

Yeah.

GX-74 Getter-1 just looks way too slim in those original 70's anime proportions.

Prefer the Fat Getter-1 of the old comics and Armageddon-OVA.

I have no problem with the slim getter proportions since this is what he looked like in the anime but it is the head that I have concerns with.
