Guys...i just learned extremely important info on why Japanese stores OR any other country you buy your figure from generally will not do an after-service on defects.... According to RollRoll, Its due to a license issue..The product that has no license right in the country you live in (say in US) but you bought the figure abroad (in Japan, which ofcourse has the lisence to sell) cannot and will not be liable ...legally. Thats also because The distributer already included the after service in the figure MSRP...so again, if its shipped out of country which distributor has no control over because the character has no lisence in that country, theres nothing the retail can do if something goes wrong... Or something like that....anyway, now atleast i know there is a reason why Japanese stores usually wont honor broken or missing parts problem. So I am back to buying from Anime Export. "Sorry bout that Warriors." But They should have explained all this to us from get go. Sorry for the thread hijack but i thought this was important. And this thread is HOT!! excellent information bro! glad you share this with us. this does deserve a thread on its own.

"Sorry bout that Warriors." But They should have explained all this to us from get go. Sorry for the thread hijack but i thought this was important. And this thread is HOT!! It actually also depends on how they get their product. Whether or not the merchant is large enough to deal directly with the manufacturer, or whether they go through a distributor. Specialty Import/Export is a known thing and the manufacturers do acknowledge it as best they can, to a degree. But they are limited in the Service and Support they can provide. Bandai will not be providing direct support for an overseas customer unless the purchase was through one of their overseas channels. Because they cannot undercut those that hold the license in those areas. But this isn't entirely universal. As a general rule for Factory direct customers the manufacturer doesn't ask too many questions about where the product ends up. So for a seller such as HLJ that deals directly with Bandai, they can get replacement parts for current product pretty easily. You as the customer just need to go through HLJ to get it. (I know this for a fact I have had them get me broken parts in the past.) Vendors that get product through the distribution channel don't have this option. No manufacturer anywhere wants to deal with their customers customer unless bound to do so by warranty. And warranty's don't cross oceans.

Thanks for the further insight.
But back to GX 76... Why didn't Bandai anounce it? Who is this mysterious GX-76? Dairugger, Grendizer, Mazinger the "new" movie version, or yet another character?
Is Bandai waiting till the right moment, so it wont interfere with upcoming SOCs? Yes. But what can interfere with DC Getter 1 sales? Could it be DC Getter Dragon?

GX-76, a.k.a. GX-70B (B stands for better than what you just bought)

Bandai sometimes goes out of order depending on planned release date. Remember GX-71 Voltron was announced and released before GX-70 Mazinger Z. They are assigned numbers early in the development process. Sometimes one may overtake another. As for what GX-76 is. My money is Jeeg. We've seen the Jeeg pics in the Anniversary book. And a Jeeg would likely be coming from the same team as the DC bots, which seems to be a different dev team than stuff like Voltron and Daizyjin. So probably on a differing project schedule. (Plus Gypsy Danger has hard dates to hit due to media tie ins.) The next likely candidate is ChoRyujin which we also saw pictures of. While I think we will see a Dairuger XV, I think we are a few more numbers away from him yet. My bet would be GX-79 or 80. Sometime in 2018. I could be wrong, they could have started development on one right after they got the Voltron license, but I don't think so. Business Common Sense says they would typically want a year separation between GX-71 and a Vehicle Voltron. You don't want those two competing directly with each other in the marketspace. Rather you want them to flow one from the other in the customers mind.
